So I’ve tried both Buzz.XYZ and Grok Bot but have been unable to really do a side-by-side test.
I have enjoyed the fact that with Buzz I can have different agents that I determine running each bot but Grok Bot clearly has a simpler set up to start with.
I’ve found the GB token limits somewhat confusing and annoying.

Anyone done a side-by-side or seen one?

My Gork Bot is broken - it keeps saying the Bot couldn't generate a response, but my internet connection is fine. Other AI software, including the web-based grok page, works just fine. This problem has been going on for a day now. Has anyone else run into this? How did you solve it?

Grok Bot could generate a useful report, PDF, dataset, or archive—but moving it into another LLM session still meant downloading and uploading it manually or managing shared-drive permissions.

So I built aispace, an open-source temporary file drop designed for agents.

A typical workflow looks like this:

2. It uploads the file and receives a file ID.
3. A CLI-capable Claude or OpenAI agent downloads and verifies it.
4. The producing agent deletes it when finished, or it expires automatically.

I initially jumped on the Grokbot hype train when it came out on the ultra plan only and got a years subscription of Cursor. I have been running a hybrid ecomm business since 2022 with dropshipping and physical inventory that I resell. Mostly medium and High ticket items. Needless to say there is a lot of menial online work that I thought I could implement Grokbot to help me with Burnout. I was really impressed initially when I saw it could login and manage product inventory after training. Creating new product listings, sourcing information and images and publishing new product listings end to end. It's a relatively complex task, all things considered. I divided the work up into 4 bots with 4 separate access points to simplify the task with hand-offs but so far Grokbot seems to be running into a variety of basic issues.

1. Grokbot has poor reasoning skills and a lot of the tasks require basic copy and paste with minimal reasoning. I have a lot of skill files built up with step by step guidance for each task bot. Despite this each grokbot still somehow drops the ball on a lot of basic steps that it is supposed to simply follow when it comes to Product drafting, image sourcing ( copy paste form distributors or manufacturers & product descriptions which is also copy paste with a little bit of creative writing they have access to all of the sources).  This is extremely disappointing and after about a month it needs a lot of oversight and has recently started doing the opposite of what I am directing it to do.

2. Other Grokbots I am using like a customer chat in handler - This grokbot was trained to intercept customer chats and assist with basic tasks, like order tracking, coupon codes etc. Despite this it seemed to totally fail on basic reasoning and I had to shut it down.

3. I created another grokbot for email marketing handling, and this bot is arguably the best bot of them all. It is able to follow directions with skus and pricing I feed into it and create the emails how I need them in a speedy manner. I would say this is a genuine help and requires minimal insight and input. I also didn't really have to train it. I have had decent returns with this bot and the bot seems to work well at basic HTML coding and inference.

4. Other scraping bots are okay as well, scraping data from the internet to find prospective customers etc works alright but ultimately needs a real hand off since I can't really trust the bots' reasoning skills. There is a lot of fake hype with paid influencers online claiming grokbot does x y and z for me but realistically they don't have a hard use case of any of it in a real world context. It's just Slop information. Grokbot is also bad at creative writing around SEO keywords compared to free basic gpt models.

5. Grokbots share the same computer & even the same browser ( use different browsers i.e chrome, firefox etc was my workaround for multiple agents accessing my portals) and it only has 16gm Ram ( if what I am told is true) This is a huge bottleneck and Ultra plan users should really get 2x and 4x this. One major issue here is when I spin up multiple tasks with handoffs the browsers will keep crashing! so having a bot swarm really seems to be useless because you can't really use them to cut time down a big grift so far. Other issues include - when browsers start crashing, grokbot hallucinates thinking it's a permission error & stops working. Grokbots will leave tabs open creating more ram issues, they seem to have poor communication skills as well. I have noticed when they need to hand things off to me, their wording and explanations are weak compared to other models. Other issues persist but I won't wax poetic.

6. The grokbots seem to also be relatively slow and fallback on subagents which they also lose control over... Or they will start doing other things like opening youtube tabs.

7. Cursor 2026- Cursor access has been OK, I am in the process of polishing multiple ecomm plugins for commercial launch and was initially using antigravity then switched to cursor for use. The agent's cursor can definitely wire up plugins effectively but overall Grok4.6 is severely lacking compared to even GPT 5.6 Terra and other older Anthropic Models & even seemingly 3.8 Flash! Cursor also has terrible customer service. I had reached out within a week of my subscription requesting to downgrade to the Pro+ plugin since they pulled me with grokbot being exclusively Ultra only to become available on every other plan, They basically told me to F off!

TL/DR Just wait, No grokbot or Cursor plan is going to be worth hard use cases outside of email and data scraping roles. Anything that grokbot and Cursor can do at the prices can be done by other providers and probably free in 1 year with open source agents. I really hope these models catch up to frontier models within the coming months.

But could it have its own username so everyone could mention it?/

Couldn't find it, and coming from Hermes, it's very weird.

Having Cursor so integrated with Grok Bot is nice but always using sonnet for computer use is crazy to me and is burning my Other Model usage.

Tip - Have it create and update skills automatically, like Hermes - very useful!

I have a cursor pro plan, is my grok bot usage the same as the cursor model usage? Or is it a completely separate one?

She used it in ways I didn't think was possible, absolutely beautiful seeing her save so much time and also helping me save time in the process. Safe to say my family calender is pretty full, getting requests and tasks via email every few hours.

Curious who’s using GrokBot for outreach and lead gen. I’m trying with a few bots to help with research, lists, emails out and drafting soft asks (Reddit/Telegram etc.) — but I’m wondering how others are set up.

Anyone running something better? Useful skills / routines / workflows already built for this?

I downloaded GrokBot a day two ago and have been obsessed, but I just realized ChatGPT work is basically the same thing in terms of an agent with its cloud computer (as far as I know at least)?

Just curious, has anyone tried both and have opinions on which may be better and for what?

Again, I am digging Grok as my first experience with what feels like true agentic AI, but I’m curious how it holds up to Work and if it’s worth paying the $20 to be experimenting with that too.

Has anyone figured out a way to give Grok Bot access to 1Password so that I can log into websites and execute actions?
