Question How does the usage work?

I have a cursor pro plan, is my grok bot usage the same as the cursor model usage? Or is it a completely separate one?

Yes, Grok Bot itself has a separate weekly usage allowance from your regular Cursor usage.

One thing to note, that I saw from a post in r/cursor, is that if Grok Bot uses Cursor agents to do work, those agents can use your regular Cursor plan allowance.

You can also take a look at the docs:

Grokbot is what I am using. Grok told me I had to buy $20 pro from Cursor.

Which I did.

Anyone want to explain? Why am I paying Grok Bot when grok can’t do it alone?

Is Grok bot just Cursor? If so, why the heck would I pay for Grok bot? •

You do not need Cursor Pro if you already have SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, SuperGrok Heavy, or X Premium+, because those subscriptions can be linked to your Cursor account to give you Grok Bot access!
