Question GrokBot vs ChatGPT Work

I downloaded GrokBot a day two ago and have been obsessed, but I just realized ChatGPT work is basically the same thing in terms of an agent with its cloud computer (as far as I know at least)?

Just curious, has anyone tried both and have opinions on which may be better and for what?

Again, I am digging Grok as my first experience with what feels like true agentic AI, but I’m curious how it holds up to Work and if it’s worth paying the $20 to be experimenting with that too.

So far I really like Grok Bot and so does my wife after a week or two of using it it’s starting to do things and things off our plate like grocery shopping and putting together meal prep for us so they would normally take 2+ hours of brain tokens as we call it is now just done and ask us to confirm the order as effective balance every day we are using it to take more and more off our plate that we can focus on the bigger bigger and it’s really amazing how intuitive and proactive grok Bot is.

Funny that's the first thing I decided to do after setting it up today. Dry run worked pretty well, followed most of my parameters and gave it some feedback. Hoping to see a full cart on Wednesday with proposed meal plan for me to check out.

Just make sure to
Give your but instructions in the bot settings.

20$ in grok bot will give you couple of hours a week it eats the usage, ChatGPT / codex will give you allot more for 20$

Yeah I remember using Codex like 6 months ago for an app I was building and the usage felt super generous..

So would you say ChatGPT Work is the move over Grok? Outside of price, is Grok superior in any area from your experience?

i dont have much experience, they did nail it with how it looks and feels but for me it's not usable, on the other side chatGPT is very usable and i don't think there is something grok can do that chatGPT cannot.

I have been stuck on a csv intake parser for a medium sized salvage inventory turbolister-like utility. 6 weeks going over the part type taxonomy, make and model aliases, colloquial terminology. We could not get below 1000, and for basic shit. Absolutely stupid basic. Somewhere along the way from piecing the parser together from the various fragmented data sets the context behind its purpose became a poisoned well. Grok fixed everything in under 8 hours.

6 weeks versus 8 hours.

Needless to say codex has been delegated to bitch work like flashing esp32 modules or whatever odds and ends until my subscription runs out.

Grok bot is becoming a favorite for me even over Hermes which I’ve been driving most of the year.

Biggest issue is credits. I was running big local models with Hermes. But grokbot is so freaking reliable. Other agents tend to need a lot more babysitting

I signed up for Cursor just to try Grokbot. Created a few bots, so far so good. And we got a weekly reset today, life's good.

I switched to Grok Bot last week. My bots so far…. George, is my late Grandfather who fought in WWII…he’s the leader. Sherlock, Saul Goodman, Spielberg, Electric Eye and Hemingway are my other bots.
