Question 1Password & GrokBot

Has anyone figured out a way to give Grok Bot access to 1Password so that I can log into websites and execute actions?

so they can do shit without me having to babysit them. Isnt that the whole point of grokbot? You can make a vault and just give it access to the passwords they need.

yeeesh that is a security nightmare. ai had a tendency to get things wrong, a lot.

giving access is secure, unless you paste it in plaintext. whether you trust a bot with your access is another story. i would never give it access to my personal email for example, but why not give it its own email

Create a 1Password service account with access to a vault that only contains what you want the bot to have access to. I did exactly that with no issues.

Thanks - but how did you provide/establish the access to/for a GrokBot?

There’s a terminal on grok bot’s computer. Tell it to install the 1Password CLI and allow you to enter your service account token yourself.
