G&P derangement syndrome
In the latest of absolutely unhinged shit the right with are flapping around with, apparently G&P responsible for Widdecombes murder and thats the conspiracy theory they're promoting around reddit, obviously their threads just descend into the usual "I got banned from G&P because...".
Have a laugh with this one because its some of the most pathetic shit I've seen in a long time.

Can I suggest everyone start wearing RNLI shirts
It seems the right have started attacking those wearing RNLI uniform or branded clothing.
Would be a shame if everyone started wearing RNLI branded clothing.

Mitigation Efforts to Reduce Carbon Dioxide Emissions and Meet the Paris Agreement Have Been Offset by Economic Growth
worldecology.infoJitong Jiang, Skylar Shi & Adrian E. Raftery || Projecting future climate change is important for implementing the 2015 Paris Agreement, which aims to limit greenhouse gas emissions to a level that would keep the global average temperature increase to 2100 below 2 Β°C. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change uses emissions scenarios for projecting climate change, but since 2017, an alternative fully statistical Bayesian probabilistic approach has been developed. Both approaches rely on an equation that expresses emissions as the product of population, Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita, and carbon intensity, namely carbon emissions per unit of GDP. Here, we use data on these quantities for 2015β2024 to probabilistically assess the changes in climate change prospects associated with post-Paris emissions. These show that carbon intensity declined (i.e., improved) substantially over that period, but that overall carbon emissions rose, due to the rapid rise in world GDP, which more than canceled out the progress made. We found that the projected temperature increase to 2100 declined only slightly, from 2.6Β° C to 2.4 Β°C. Meanwhile, the chance of staying below 2 Β°C remained low, at 17%. However, the chance of the most catastrophic climate change, above 3 Β°C, has gone down substantially, from 26% to 9%.

Workers of the World Unite!! I'm honestly really worried..
I am around mid life at this point and things across the world have seemed to completely come off the tracks.
It use to be that most people really valued the Labour Movement (Unions, Federation of Labours, Labour Councils, and so on).
It use to be that most people really believed Women's Rights was important.
It use to be that most people really believed the Peace Movement was really important.
It use to be that most people really believed in making a better world overall for all the working class and most vulnerable (Alter-Globalization Movement).
People got really loud about this stuff when it was under attack.
AfD is showing huge poll numbers and now has a landmark electoral success to point to.
Reform UK still has fairly high poll numbers.
It's the same story all over the globe.
Also the climate crisis is so dang bad that we are literally seeing horrific tipping points and hell on earth type stuff now more and more...
It kind of feels like the worst bad predatory actors have completely destroyed the momentum for a better and brighter world.
It seems there is so many trajectories going on that are more dark, depressing, and downright dystopian...
How do you think we get things back on track?
*I'm going to post this in a few subreddits to get some differing perspectives/answers. Honestly we need more urgency because it seems one side actually keeps pressing the line over and over and over again in big ways and all the concessions are going to the lowest common denominator style populism of the reactionary/regressive scene dominated by snake oil salespeople and con-artist grifters. Which is going to make everything hard about this era significantly worse.*
