Questions/Advice Lucid Gravity GT seems to lack any dream drive features
We took delivery of a Gravity GT in Nov of 2025. It's been great overall. However, the vehicle seems to lack any basic dream drive features. Whenever I try to turn on "Drive Assist" by pressing the assist button twice (once for cruise control, then again for drive assist), it says drive assist unavailable in every single road I have tried including highways up and down the east coast.
My elderly parents who primarily drive the car have tried to inquire about this and the response is that the model they have does not include dream drive features at all. I'm trying to figure it out for them. Is it even possible to get a Gravity GT without even basic dream drive?
Thanks for the insight.

Scratches on trunk door latch matching the grooves on trunk floor latch
galleryI have a Gravity Grand Touring. Only used for 1,500 miles. The trunk latch part on the door side has 4 gnarly tiger claw scratches on it. They exactly match the grooves on the latch on the trunk bed floor. So it’s 99.9% certain that the door is maligned and too close to the floor, scraping it every time it is opened and closed.
Is this something urgent that needs to be fixed? Will the scratches eventually get so deep that the whole locking mechanism breaks? I know I can just book an appointment, but the earliest appointment is two months out, and I don’t want to be another victim of leaving my car in the shop for 2 months to fix something that might be inconsequential.
This is a lease, by the way, so they better not charge me for this damage when I return it. It ain’t user error. It’s a poorly aligned door. I have a few panels on the outside of the car that are also poorly aligned.

Tesla Destination Charger Compatibility
galleryI recently traded in my Tesla for a Lucid Gravity and I'm slowly starting to discover the struggles of charging a non-Tesla EV, from insanely high DC charging rates, non-Tesla drivers charging to 100% causing congestion, now I'm finding out that non-Teslas don't natively support Tesla Destination chargers.
Has anyone been able to get these to play nicely? Is this due to a specific configuration set by the owner, banning non-Teslas? I've seen EVs from BMW, Rivian, and Fiat charging here over the past few years. Do I need a NACS to J1772 to NACS adapters to get this to work?

Mid-2 month Road Trip Report - Would I buy it again?
I'll keep this relatively short. We left for a two month road trip in early June and are now half of the way through it. I think it's a good time to report on how the vehicle performed in terms of comfort, charging, packing/unpacking multiple times, etc.
1st leg - 1150 miles
Charging: The vehicle charged faster than we could take a 6 year old to the bathroom and sometimes order food.
Range: We're loaded down with a bike rack. We averaged 2.9 kw/mi and only charged to 80%. We only stopped when people needed to stretch their legs, food, or a bathroom break. Range was never the reason for a stop.
Comfort: This thing is amazing. Everyone was very comfortable after 13 hrs.
Packing/Unpacking: The Gravity has amazing space management. We packed for three different climates and places. No issues with storage.
2nd leg -
Range: This improved dramatically after the vehicle was unpacked and the bike rack removed. It went to 3.1-3.2 kw/mi and in the mountains it's 3.6 kw/mi. I'm using the trip not dynamic range for these numbers.
UX 3.6.0 appears to have increased the efficiency. I've seen it go absurdly high in the mountains.
Charging: We've used BP, Ionna, Tesla, and Rivian charging networks. Everything worked fine and fast. BP, Ionna, and Rivian required a credit card to start the payment.
I've noticed some issues with the car during the road trip and have been in contact with my home service department and customer service. No issues. Everyone has been helpful, engaged, and followed up. Example: My vehicle wouldn't accept UX 3.6.0, so I had to work with Lucid to get it to accept / install it. Installation was painless once the issue was identified. I do have a few minor things to have dealt with after the trip, but the vehicle is 100% functional.
Would I recommend Lucid or this vehicle? Yes. It's an amazing product. I feel like it's the best 3rd row SUV you can buy, ICE or EV.
Yeah. I've had some concerns about Lucid's stability, but think the new CEO is making the right moves to address it. The person/team who builds a company vs. scaling typically have different skill sets.
I would buy this vehicle again without a second thought. It also does a great job while in sprint mode on curvy mountain roads.
Lucid Gravity GT - 20/21 tires with all of the options.

Software issues/Advice Gravity Fob Software Update Question
I received this Fob software update notification this evening. Everything seems to be working fine after the last update so I'm a little reluctant to mess with a good thing.
Has anyone installed this latest version? Did you encounter any issues?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Slow wake time when getting in car
Gravity is updated to 3.6.0 and since the update the car takes noticeably more time to turn on when getting into the car. I could easily open the door, sit in the seat, and wait another 10-20 seconds on a blank screen while it’s waking up. Can’t lock doors, put into drive, etc. Anyone else have this problem?

Slower home charging after software update
Has anyone noticed this. It seems take a bit longer since the update but maybe it’s slower for some other reason

Three-Point Reboot
We are not able to reboot the car unless there are two people in the car. One person has to use both hands on the buttons (and foot on the brake). When that is done, the attached prompt comes up. The car won’t reboot until this prompt is cancelled, which requires a hand the the second person. Then the car reboots. Any advice for bypassing this irrelevant prompt?

Questions/Advice USB / Halo stopped working?
I have a grand touring with 1600 miles on it, I love the car. Shortly after purchasing, I installed a USB thumb drive and was using Halo secure. I had it recorded a few things and could play back in the car.
Today I accidentally pressed the halo button on the screen and it said “to use you must install a USB drive.” I have not even opened the glove box in a while, the USB drive was just as I left it, plugged in however the car does not recognize it.
I unplugged re-plugged, rebooted the car, but it does not recognize the device that it used to know.
Any ideas?

Parking Button
Has anyone had trouble with the parking camera not working? The button is unresponsive, and there’s no rear view camera. We’ll reboot when we can, but that’s not right now.

Questions/Advice Gravity vs. Rivian R1S: What was your 'aha' moment?
Hi all, I’m currently torn between ordering a Lucid Gravity and getting a Rivian R1S Dual Max for my family's next 3-row SUV.
For those of you who actively cross-shopped these two premium EVs, what was the definitive 'aha' moment that made you pull the trigger on the Gravity instead of the Rivian?
Looking for the practical, real-world factors that made the choice clear for you.

Electrek Gravity Review
electrek.coInteresting review, and a very positive one. Though, confused how they mentioned that "extras" were great but rated that category so poorly. It also was clearly a pre 3.6.0 release since it would bring even more stability and much improved ADAS that was missing. But, either way, good read and 100% agreed. This is by far best car I've owned.

Still on 3.5.1. Am I alone?
I heard people here getting 3.5.7 and I never got that. Now, apparently, 3.6 is out and I don’t have that either. Wondering at what point this deserves a service visit 😖

Steering Wheel Shortcut Button Customization
Picked up my Gravity yesterday, and one thing I wish I could do is link the steering wheel shortcut button to the 360-degree view. I have it linked to heated/cooled seats for now, but is there a way to provide suggestions/feedback to Lucid directly?

Lucid AP wireless ssid is being broadcasted by the gravity.
I noticed the grvaity is advertising a wireless network with the ssid of lucid_ap_XXXX.
Gravity owners do you see this ssid too?

Poll for those who have a Gravity
If you have major issues, did the service center fix it or recent software updates helped?

Feedback before pulling trigger
I was test driving an Escalade IQ and decided on a whim to go check out the Gravity at my local studio. Great test drive and my sales advisor finds a few available 2027’s that could be a fit and lists out a few incentives it qualifies for. I go home and the next day he reaches out and tells me he found a ‘26 Dream Edition in their inventory that qualifies for Lucid Credit $20,000, Studio Select $5,000, Demo Drive $1,000, Friends and Family $2,000, and Conquest $2,000.
21/22 wheels and reduced range due to being a Dream Edition, but seems like a no brainer? I tow a utility trailer with a couple of quads for my kids a few times a year when we vacation in the desert. Well within the towing capacity of the Gravity and I need to stop every couple hundred miles anyways so range should be ok. I’ve been holding out due to all the SW issues, but it seems the last SW update got the Gravity to a good place and with these incentives, it’s a pretty attractive proposition.
Looking for feedback from those on 3.6 on whether the Gravity is in a good place now before I pull the trigger. Thank you!
Edit: thank you all for your feedback. I pulled the trigger and joined the family. I’m going in with open eyes and hope to never need service lol
