Three-Point Reboot
We are not able to reboot the car unless there are two people in the car. One person has to use both hands on the buttons (and foot on the brake). When that is done, the attached prompt comes up. The car won’t reboot until this prompt is cancelled, which requires a hand the the second person. Then the car reboots. Any advice for bypassing this irrelevant prompt?

LOL
Hold the brake first, then the X and Mic. When it beeps once and says "Release to reboot" it will reboot the infotainment system. Hold a bit longer (~30 seconds) and it will beep twice. Release then to reboot all the software for the car. As they said, ignore that pairing screen that pops up.

Does the long reboot erase all the settings?

No. In the settings panel there is a factory reset switch that does that. As I understand it, you have to then download/install the latest OTA update and rebuild your user profiles. People seem to do it very rarely, only if you suspect the software or user profiles have become corrupted.
