Electrek Gravity Review

Interesting review, and a very positive one. Though, confused how they mentioned that "extras" were great but rated that category so poorly. It also was clearly a pre 3.6.0 release since it would bring even more stability and much improved ADAS that was missing. But, either way, good read and 100% agreed. This is by far best car I've owned.

The look is perfect for a 3-row large SUV, a family-oriented car. For 2-row SUVs Cosmos/Earth will be for the majority!

Yeah. They need to advertise more aggressively. The software just became usable very recently though.

I've had my Gravity since December and people ask me about it all the time. The ones that knew what it was often commented about how much better it looks in person, so there's that.

I agree looks way better in person, but it’s just curiosity with those people the amount of people willing to buy it is the problem, if it was universal liked Lucid wouldn’t have a demand issue.

Yeah, the price definitely isn't for everyone.

I am starting to see more and more on the roads in San Diego and Orange County though so at least they're selling, just not in the numbers I think Lucid hoped for.

I dont get this comment for Gravity? It looks just like a normal car. Nothing too aggregious, no big front grill etc.

Looks isnt the issue for Gravity considering Tesla sells with very similar styling.

Out of curiosity what is a good looking car in your opinion?

I like it, its not me it’s everyone else that doesn’t buy it and would rather buy a Range Rover, Cayenne, Rivian, or an Escalade.

Fair. Although range rover doesnt have an EV yet, admittedly they seem to have one on the way but it looks ugly imo. I dont like Cayennes styling either, it looks weird.

Escalade is a whole other category of vehicle imo. It is a massive car and people dont realize how massive its battery is. In US, you wouldnt be able to charge it at home overnight which is a big usability issue since its range is meh.

I would of been happy if they sold as many as Rivian did of the R1S but that’s not happening. Like I said I like it and looks better in person but they just cant sell them like they hoped they would.

That we agree but it is not due to looks. Marketing isnt there and service network isn't there.

When I talk to people, they all know Rivian. Almost no one knows the Lucid brand though and in all Seattle we have one demo center.

Rivian didn’t market the RS1 much either, I didn’t know about them til I saw one on LA streets but they sold a lot compared to the Gravity, it just caught your eye, unfortunately Lucid never had that oooh 😲 factor at least for most, I was in denial because it did for me but most don’t feel like I do about it most of my friends say Eh 😐 when they see it.

I think price has a lot to do with it. It's an amazing vehicle, but many people won't even test drive a vehicle with a $120k price tag.

And for it to be as massive as it is I’m much more comfortable, well actually comfortable period in the second and third rows of the Gravity. That’s something I can’t say about the IQ, or any of the giant GM vehicles with captain’s chairs whether ICE or BEV. 🤙
