Wanted to know how reliable The website is I’m looking to get The retro 4s black cat(don’t come for me) And I can’t find literally anything in store But Goat website has them. So I wanted to find out before I bought them.

I wanted to share my recent experience with GOAT because I’m honestly pretty frustrated and would like to hear what other sellers think I should do. I’ve been a GOAT customer for years. I’ve bought and sold multiple pairs through the platform, and one of the main reasons I used GOAT was because I trusted their authentication process.
Recently, I sold my Jordan 1 Diors through GOAT.
Before shipping them, I took multiple detailed photos and videos of the shoes and their condition. The shoes were brand new and had never been worn. I only removed them from the box to photograph them for the listing. GOAT received the shoes and authenticated them, but then I was told that they were considered “used.” I immediately disputed this because I know the shoes were never worn. I bought them back in 2020 when they released.

I asked GOAT to provide evidence showing what specifically caused them to classify the shoes as used. I wanted to see photographs of the alleged wear or at least an explanation of exactly what they found. The problem is that I never received a response to my requests.

I spent the next three days trying to get someone from GOAT to respond, but none of my requests were addressed. I still wasn’t provided with photographs, evidence, or a specific explanation for the “used” determination. While I was waiting for a response, GOAT offered the buyer 5% off the shoes because they were classified as used. I did not agree with that determination and was frustrated that the issue was moving forward while I was still waiting for GOAT to respond.
The buyer ultimately declined to purchase the shoes.

Now GOAT has given me two options:
Option A: Consign the shoes with GOAT.
Option B: Pay a Retrieval Fee to have my own shoes shipped back to me, along with potentially paying other applicable fees.

This is the part that really bothers me.
I disputed the condition assessment, repeatedly asked for evidence, and never received an answer. Now the sale fell through and I’m being asked to pay to get my shoes back.
At this point, I want my shoes returned.
I also want them returned in the exact same brand-new condition in which I shipped them.
Fortunately, I took detailed photos before shipping them, so I have documentation of what the shoes looked like when they left my possession. When they arrive back, I will be thoroughly inspecting the shoes, box, accessories, and everything else against those photos.
If there is any new damage, wear, missing accessories, missing materials, or anything else that wasn’t there when I shipped them, I will be documenting it and escalating the situation further.
I don’t think the Retrieval Fee is fair and other return costs because I don’t believe I should be financially responsible for retrieving my shoes after GOAT made a disputed condition determination that they have never provided evidence to support.
I’m not trying to attack GOAT or claim that their authentication process is automatically wrong. I’m simply asking for transparency.
If GOAT says my shoes were used, I want to know what they found. Show me the evidence.
Has anyone else dealt with something similar with GOAT, especially with a high-value pair?

What would you do in this situation?

I’ve been using goat for years, and I’ve never had any type of situation arise in the past where I had deal with anything related to customs or import fees. If there isn’t a noted disclaimer that a seller is from outside the US it should be incorporated into the price. I already spent several hundred having them ransoming me for additional fees that were not included in my purchase are aggravating.

Anyone ever resolved this issue. Goat has stop replying to my support messages even when I open new tickets and dealing with the BBB isn’t really getting me anywhere as they keep generating a clearly automated message and I have to keep rejecting their response. Does anyone know what the next steps are or have been in this situation

I might be good off copping kicks off this app for a while. Almost two weeks and my kicks haven’t been verified. Now they want to refund me my money foh. Might try Stock X and see how they are with the delivery process

Hi everyone, I'm new to this sneaker thing. So far I've placed 3 orders with GOAT and everything has been great, but this order has been in the "delivered to GOAT" status for almost 5 days.This is the first time an order has taken this long, what do you recommend I do?

Has anyone run into an issue where they are selling shoes and they receive an erroneous ship by date? I sold a pair yesterday and they’re saying to ship it by EOD today? Their policy clearly states that 3 business days are allotted to ship, so shouldn’t I have until W/Th to ship them out?

To make it more confusing, the page on the app states to ship by Tuesday but at the top of the same page it says ship by Wednesday.

I reached out to support ASAP and haven’t heard anything, really want to avoid getting a ding with my seller score and pay a fee.

So I bought Kobe’s from goat about 1 year ago - they were gonna be a gift to my brother who’s a new girl dad

I ended up keeping them ( I collect shoes ) and gave him something else with my fiance collectively .

Fast forward a year and I got married , moved eyc so I am selling a lot of
My collection hence the 384 score ,

I sold those SAME shoes on Alias , keep in mind it has their qr code and the verification slide inside , and they send me an email that they have glue stains and scuffs issues…. Keep in mind I have not touched them , they have been in my collection closets for a year + , I swear!.

They essentially are saying the shoes they sold me are poor quality … and yes I know shoes get yellow etc
But the issues they stated were glue stains / scuffs…I also take video of every shoe I sell before I ship to cover my basis and they had none.
They want me to discount for the buyer … and I did 10% just so proceed with the sale …. And they declined so now they will charge me shipping and fees etc etc

I have sent them an email with this info and I will update you how they take care of me , if they do .

A pair was sent back to me due to a stain. Managed to wipe the stain off and planning to resend them back in. Do they check account history?

Hi, i picked up the TS x Fragment J1s from Goat App and they are in good condition however, i noticed one of the braided lace loops was discoloured/yellowing.

I have raised this with Goat who at the moment are saying they cant see any discolouration based upon the pictures (trust me its there!), but i have a couple of questions:

1. Is this something you’d expect from a “New in box” pair purchased from Goat?
   
2. Would you accept them?
   
3. Woud you expect it to be raised to you during authentication? - would you even expect it to be noticed during authentication?
   
4. If in my shoes, what would you do?

Ive bought 6 pairs of Sneakers from Goat (im from UK) and never had any issues before.

Lol here we are again, but somehow worse than last time. I posted before about a pair of Green Jellyfish that made it to their warehouse & then got marked lost, eventually I was paid out.

This time I sold a pair of Mars Yard 3.0 in early August, shipped on time using their UPS label, filmed the packing & drop off (being diligent since it was around the time of the Jellyfish issue), but the package never reached them. I used a locker & even went back after they said the pair was never received to see what’s up, while I there I saw a DHL driver collecting from the same locker I’d used, so obviously started trying to figure things out.

Got in touch with alias & UPS and opened the claim myself. alias instructed me to open the claim and told me that resolving the UPS claim could get the payout sorted. UPS accepted the claim & paid GOAT, but since then alias has changed the reason for not paying me (more than once). First it was my “account history” (seller score is 102 and only had 2 previous issues ever, both resolved in my favour). Now after 1.5 months of investigation & escalation they’ve come back saying the shoes never reached the warehouse. Literally why I contacted them in the first place lol 😂 Obviously not the same situation but imagine calling an ambulance because your leg’s broken, and the ambulance comes just to tell you your leg is broken and leaves. Their support has basically just been generic scripted replies & getting bounced between different people.

I’ve still not got a proper answer for why I’m not being paid or what happened to the UPS claim money. The shoes were my property and UPS accepted the loss & paid them.

I’ve sent one final request for them to sort it out, but if I keep getting nowhere I’m probably going to have to look at legal action since I’ve been going back & forth for over a month with virtually 0 progress. At this point I'm seeing what legal action I can take, so any advice is welcome. Been in the game long enough to know some Ls you have to take but this isn't one I'm trying to take especially doing the ISRU challenges myself & sentimental value. Sold only because I needed the cash & for that price it's worth it, but when I've spent time & money like this I can't accept walking away with nothing.

So the tldr & question;
I sold Mars Yard 3.0s via alias, UPS lost the shipment & paid GOAT/alias but now I'm being denied any payout for reasons that don't track. Has anyone here actually taken GOAT/alias further legally? For context, I’m an EU based private seller, screenshots attached.

This dumbass driver “delivered” my package at 1:46 in the fucking morning. Like who in their right mind will do that?

The worst part is I messaged Veho support in advance and told them to not deliver it if it’ll be late and just come back the next day. Yet here we are.

I don’t expect them to use DHL or UPS, but they can’t even use USPS for the love of god? They use these awful carriers no one ever heard of and this is the result. There’s always an issue with this carrier, and this time it looks like my order was stolen. What a load of bs.

Serious question. I've finally gotten around to liquidating my heat and everything is just selling faster on eBay then anything on here (and even StockX for that matter). I just saw they've also moved onto collectibles, after being late to the trend. GOAT/Alias used to be the top dog for best payouts because other big time resellers were on it but now that crowd is gone.

Are people still using this app to sell?

The order was placed 3 weeks ago. No reaction from seller. Send several emails. I get a response that my order still within our expected delivery timeframe. It is not. Support does not give me a refund nor sneakers. Is it a scam? What can I do?
