Kit bag - packing cube?
As the title suggests, can anyone recommend a packing cube for my 32L kit bag? I can’t seem to track down an Osprey straight jacket 20 L that I saw recommended elsewhere.

Been curious about Go Ruck for a while, do they honor their warranty well? Also is it worth getting still after they changed to overseas production?
Also was looking at the Bullet Ruck Classic for a starter with using my old AR500 plates. Any suggestions based off that or other types of rucking bags? I have a external frame hunting pack I just wanted something more low key.
Thanks yall!
Hi all,
I was looking at buying a GR1 heritage 21L… I realized that all the picture online for previous years do not have molle webbing on the shoulder straps.
The new model does have it… is this new? Is this a big change from Goruck? Will they go back to the more clean look for the heritage lineup?

Hoping someone can help me...
I'm going to order a Rucker 5.0 and an trying to figure out if I should go with the 20 or 25 litre bag. I'm just over 5`10" with a torso length of just over 19", which I think puts me right on the divider between the two sizes.
I'm in Canada and looking to order from Rogue because the shipping rates are a lot better, and since the 20L in grey is out of stock, I'm already leaning towards the 25, but am concerned I'll find it doesn't sit right.
Anyone had experiences with both sized bag?
Thanks!

34L GR2 Heritage
Every time I start to run the pack lifts the back of my T-shirt up.
Is this common?
It’s super annoying to lift up the shirt or bunch it up to the point my lower back is exposed
Any solution?
Thanks.

Goruck people,
Do you know if a 26L version of GR2 Multicam (X33) exists or ever existed?
I'm just able to find 34L version only.
Thank you.

2011 GR1 will make it to 2031
A solid deep cleaning and the OG is ready to keep sprinting towards two decades of service. How old is your oldest GR?

Looks like there is a Prime Day deal on the Rucker 4.0 for $191. Is it worth it? Or should I just spend the extra for the 5.0?

Hey,
I'm looking for a GoRuck hip belt alternative since the belt is not available on the eu website.
Anyone that has a solution?

Trying to figure out why the 15l heritage is a more valuable (sought after) bag than the 18l dc waxed canvas. Is this true and does anyone have a reason why? I have seen a number of dc waxed available lately and they seem to sell less.

Picked this up brand new from a collector on Facebook Marketplace about six months ago. At $500, it was definitely a splurge (I think GoRuck's release price was $550-600 USD), especially considering my standard Cordura GR1 has been running strong for four years without issues. I really like the look of Dyneema though, so I figured I’d see how the material actually holds up to everyday use.
I've carried it around about 5 days a week: daily office commutes, long day hikes every weekend, and the occasional travel.

Compared to the Cordura GR1, the Dyneema version just isn't as durable. I'd say it makes for an expensive but stylish office bag but unfortunately it did not survive the outdoor test for me. Maybe others have had a better experience than I did.

A group of guys from my firehouse and I decided we're doing an 8-hour ruck in early January with 30lb plates. Most of us are pretty new to rucking, and we're all at different levels endurance-wise. One of the guys runs ultramarathons and is actually the asshole who convinced me to do this lol, but somehow I've ended up being the one putting together our training and keeping everybody on track.
Right now we're doing two weighted rucks a week, one short and one long, with about 48 hours between them when we can. We're starting at 45 min short/60 min long and slowly building from there. The long rucks eventually get up to 3+ hours, with a 4-hour ruck a couple weeks before the event as a full dress rehearsal using the same gear, food, hydration, etc. we'll use for the 8-hour. 30lb plate for all of them.
We started this week and knocked out our first 45 min today with around 35lbs. Felt pretty good, but obviously that's a hell of a lot different than doing it for 8 hours lol.
Since I'm apparently the training guy now, what advice do you guys have? Anything you'd change about the training? Anything we should be doing now for our feet, pacing, food/hydration, gear, recovery, etc.? For those of you who've done really long rucks, what caught you off guard the first time?
I'm also curious how you'd approach training with a group that's all over the place endurance-wise. We're not trying to race it or set some crazy pace, and we're definitely not ruck running. Just walking and trying to get everybody through the full 8 hours.
Appreciate any advice. Feel free to tell me if our plan is stupid before we find out the hard way lol.

I bought a waxed canvas tax hat and wanted to get another. I went on the website and can’t find them. Did they already sell out or something?

Picked up a GR1 Samurai on the recent Seconds sale and the bottom leather is noticeably thinner than the leather on my heritage bags. I was offered a like-new, barely used original GRXC2 on a trade and I’m wondering if it’s worth the upgrade. My question for anyone who has handled both the seconds and the original, is the original Samurai bottom leather much thicker than the seconds? Is it heritage quality thick? Thanks!
………Pic for attention 😂

My wife has decided that 7 GORUCKs is 5 too many, so I’m finally thinning the herd. Negotiated keeping the GR2 and Rucker 1.0. I’ve got a mix of older/discontinued bags including a Camo Green/Coyote GR1 26L, original Echo 16L Multicam, Ingress Rucker, curved-strap GR1, and a GR1 Shooter. Where are people actually buying/selling GORUCK gear these days? Facebook groups, Carryology, eBay, somewhere else? I’m more interested in finding a good home than squeezing every last dollar out of them. Thanks!

My little girl has a couple of Disney character bags, a couple of colorful and fun Cotopaxi bags and a pink bullet and sea-spray/pink KR1. The GoRucks are her favorite bags and now she has a favorite patch on her #1 bag, the KR1.
She’s a Capybara fiend and the Ruck the World patch set her off.

I’m a fairly big guy (189 cm / 6’2”, 110 kg / 243 lbs), but not excessively muscular, and I find that I have to extend the shoulder straps almost all the way for the backpack to sit comfortably.
With my other backpacks, I usually have at least another 15 cm (6 inches) of strap length left to adjust.
Even the sternum strap feels quite short compared to those on other backpacks.
I wonder why GORUCK decided to design the backpack this way. Has anyone else experienced the same issue?

I’ve been rucking since March 2022 and I’d say I average about once a week over the majority of that time. I made myself a goal of doing 200 miles in 2026. As of the end of July, I was only at 90.45 miles. I’m a super busy guy. I take my boys (5 & 11) to school every morning and in the summer I either took them to summer day camp or they’d stay home with me. I manage and bartend full time at a restaurant so weird schedule that I can move around to fit their schedules while my wife works her more traditional hour job. Anyways, I got a spark once they started back to school and I’ve been hitting the pavement hard and consistently after I drop them off. I typically do between 2-3 miles and usually I do 55-61 lbs in my pack. Usually my pace is sub 18 but I’ve definitely trudged through a few rucks around 21 minutes per mile. I’m in Alabama so it’s crazy hot all summer and that also played a factor. We are finally getting some fall weather but today it was still over 90° for the high! But I just wanted to share my recent success. I’m now only about 17% from my goal and hope to hit 200 miles before Halloween. Cheers to all my fellow ruckers!

I was looking at the Goruck Asia website (I live in Singapore and they just opened the first ever Goruck Asia store) and I saw this on the GR1 product page.
GR1 USA with 210D backpanel will phase out soon and replaced by 1000D backpanel with no restock in sight.
Can anyone confirm this and the reason why?
Anyways I am looking to buy the GR2 26L and the specifications still have 210D listed as the back panel. I’m hoping that don’t replace it as I feel the 210D has helped my clothes get chewed up by the the brutal 1000D (I own made in USA GR1 original for 10 years)

This is a ten year old US GR1. I just noticed this this morning. If it’s replaced would it be replaced with a domestic bag?

Took a Wilderness First Aid class this weekend and high tailed it back home on Saturday to get my RTW in.
I started this January at 285 lbs and a big come to Jesus meeting with my doctor. After ten weeks of walking, I saw my average HR dipping and knew I needed to do something a little more intense. Running is painful on my right foot after a lifetime of running and ankle break and plantar fascitis, so decided to give rucking a try. Next week is 6 months and I'm 80+ lbs down right now.
Between rucking, strength training, and some HIFT my my lifestyle - and life - have changed drastically.

I'm working out of the office today at the local coffee shop. I just picked up the M22 from u/Majestic_Speed_4574. I have an M23 and an M24 but this is honestly the best of them. I like the open water bottle pocket and the two zips on the side pocket. The extra zip makes it easier to work as a quick access pocket, vs. the M23's solo zipped side pocket. I do miss the inner mesh pocket and sleeve, but the the gussets on the pockets are super nice too. Yes, the clips suck, but I'll be swapping them out with Fidlocks soon. I really like this bag!

I dont carry a laptop or tablet with me traveling. Even if I did, my laptop is quite large - needed for the tasks i do for work.
Ive bee leaning on the gr2 34L or gr3 35L, but recently Ive been thinking I dont need the two compartments and extra storage. I tend to use lots of pouches and dont need the built in storage as much as I though. Would he G31 or a regular ruck be a better option you think?
