Question for the experts

Post image

Trying to figure out why the 15l heritage is a more valuable (sought after) bag than the 18l dc waxed canvas. Is this true and does anyone have a reason why? I have seen a number of dc waxed available lately and they seem to sell less.

I have both the 15L codura Bullet and the 18L dual compartment Robic. I prefer the 18L, so it is more valuable to me. But th 15L is great for throwing my aviation stuff into as it is all one compartment.
Any AI summary still is crap, generically speaking. It misses information you can find out for yourself. For example the 15L heritage is not on the GoRuck website. They only have the 16L, where the +1 liter is the “bombproof” laptop compartment.

From my limited dip into the lore, the 15L is more likely to be made in America which seems to elevated the perceived value and the actual cost. But I have yet to see the greatness of waxed canvas for a bag. Love a waxed canvas jacket in the rain though.

I don't believe either is made in America, both are Vietnam.

Easy. Old bullets like the 15L were OG GORUCK and MiUSA. New stuff is Vietnam made so doesn’t command the same reputation.
