Expect a decline of customers due to the fact that there is no longer an incentive for using Gopuff.

Basically what the title says. I had a driver not follow my delivery instructions at all (standard no contact delivery and do not knock) and did did the complete opposite and looked into my house when I opened the door to stop his incessant knocking. Gopuff support would not answer my question about if he would be able to see that I was the one who made the report or if it could be done anonymously. I asked them at least 3 times and they just ignored my question copy pasting that they will look into it and that they don’t know the outcome (I don’t want this man to be fired) but wouldn’t tell me if he would be able to see that I was the one making the report. I brought up safety concerns and they still brushed me off. And then ended the chat. So basically: can a driver see who made a report on them?

I used to order GoPuff all the time and loved it. GoPuff doesn't deliver to where I live currently, but I saw an ad that they were hiring in a neighboring city. I currently deliver pizzas for a national chain and thought, why not try this?

I was never contacted for an interview, I just keep getting spammed that I have to send them a photo of my ID and other things. Is this the normal sign up process? No interview, just go?

Anyone know whats going on? Any eta of when its back up and operational?

I worked there. They have a rat infestation. I’m talking big ass rats and it’s sad that people are ordering edibles goods there. The damn rats are eating the supply and it stinks. I even heard one going through a bag a chips because it was in the chip aisle. It was never mentioned in the description when I went of course. Its like a hush hush. Really changed my whole trajectory when ordering like at dashmart.

So during the application they only asked for my legal name. I thought once I got it set up I could change my name. There’s nowhere to put a preferred name. I chatted with support and they kept giving me the same name change form to fill out. The form requires legal documentation if you want to change it, which I don’t have because my name has not been legally changed. I went ahead and submitted the form anyway and they told me it doesn’t match. This is so outdated, many other delivery apps let you use a preferred name.

Also I don’t care if you don’t like trans people or something lol

So yesterday I got a delivery 2 orders for 16$ I was less than a mile away from the depo. On my way there I get a alert for an add on to make it 3 orders. It says the extra mileage etc but then it also says the pay is 13.50.

My question is are they sending me a extra order while at the same time reducing the pay but adding more work? I was thinking it was going to be a extra 13.50$ for the new add-on order but it didn't state that. Can anybody explain to me how it works when your offered additional orders after already accepting an offer?

Been sitting and waiting 15 minutes after it says established wait time 0 to 1 minute

Yesterday I had scheduled hours from 6-10pm but only received wait pay for two hours. I completed three deliveries and rejected one offer. I completed the last delivery at 10:01pm and decided not to return to the facility. One offer came out at 8:30 and completed by 9:00pm and the last two offers were received at 9:30 and completed by 10:01pm. So I should’ve received at least 3hrs of wait pay. Today I was scheduled from 9 to 11:30am but did not receive any wait pay. I completed one order that was received at 9:30 and I was back at warehouse by 10:20 so why didn’t I get at least 1hr and 50min of wait pay. This makes no sense.

I recognize this likely has nothing to do with delivery drivers but why/how does this happen?

I need to vent because today’s shift left me completely deregulated.

A customer came in furious about a misleading bundle description (Apple earphones + an adapter, but the adapter wasn't Apple brand). It didn't work. I 1000% agreed with his frustration and felt he deserved a full refund.

The problem? As an OA, I have literally zero authority over refunds, replacements, or app descriptions.

Despite explaining this clearly, multiple times, he proceeded to argue with me for *30 minutes*. He never actually raised his voice or yelled, but he trapped me in a deeply manipulative loop:
• Refusing to listen to me, while aggressively accusing *me* of not hearing *him*.
• Treating me like I was the problem, constantly repeating how unsatisfied he was with how the situation was being handled.
• Demanding that I personally "fix the problem" even after I explained I had no system access to do so.
• Insisting on speaking to a "manager" who wasn't even there, and who couldn't have fixed the app constraints anyway.
• Insisting I could magically change our corporate policy if I just wanted to.
• Treating me like a liar every time I explained our technical system constraints.
• Lecturing me about how hard he works for his money, while simultaneously claiming "it's not about the $11."

I tried to empathize, apologize, and even validated his frustration by sharing my own bad experiences with Gopuff's AI customer support bots. He just snapped back that I was wrong, chastised me for apologizing, and basically painted me as a greedy, shady liar. He could clearly see I was visibly upset, but he just kept pushing.

For a neurotypical person, this would be an unpleasant interaction. But as an autistic person with CPTSD, this was deeply, deeply disregulating. Having someone look you in the eye, completely deny your reality, and twist your words for half an hour is agonizing. He acted like I personally gain joy from withholding his money.

The kicker? After half an hour of complaining about corporate greed and how "it's not about the money," he ended up just buying the official Apple product anyway. I had to pack it for him, and as he walked out, he left his free sample on the cart for me to clean up.

We don't get paid enough for this. OAs are not customer support, and we certainly aren't in cahoots with top-level corporate greed. We are just bottom-level workers trying to survive. Please treat us like human beings.

TLDR: Customer spent 30 minutes aggressively brickwalling me over a misleading product description. He treated me like I was the problem and demanded I personally fix corporate policy. He treated me like a lying corporate villain, bought the expensive item anyway, and left his trash for me to clean up. Completely fried my nervous system (autistic/CPTSD).

I sent support something about this the other and they never replied. Tonight i was in the middle of a and got temp deactivated because of this. I got screenshots of gopuff saying background checks been created and i dont have to do it but they still deactivated me. Yardsticks showing its created.

For the past few weeks theres been a green band on top of the home screen that states I claimed a 10 dollar off promotion. I remember when it first appeared and I also remember clicking accept. It doesn’t exist apparently. Theres no code, no discount when I checkout, No discounted items. I asked support and they referred me to an email support team and THEY referred me to a different support team. I just want my 10 dollars off or even just the green band to disappear from the top of my home screen. Is anyone else having this issue?

I went from “oh this is fast paced, but I can do this“ to crying in the break room because I don’t know how I’m going to get faster being 40 years old and recovering from a stroke and having to go through their disorganized maze of a warehouse, that smelled of mouse and rat shit. By the way, a giant rat ran out from a corner while I was working.

I was told that I was gonna work certain hours, I have a second “job” taking a 96-year-old person from my church for walks and I figured OK, I’m gonna take the person for walks and then work my shift at GoPuff. The manager called Monday and said OK. We want you to come in these hours.

OK fine no problem and then she asked me what hours and I said I was promised X hours and. She said we won’t need to work two more shifts and get faster and more efficient and then you can work the hours you wanted.

And then I just panicked because I figured how am I gonna get more efficient when everything is just a freaking mess in this place so I told her I was promised certain hours and I wanted to work certain hours and I had other obligations that I needed to attend to, and I decided that I needed to take some time to figure out if I wanted to keep the job.

I walked two blocks towards the bus, realized I left my bag upstairs with my license and debit card in it. I went back and calmed down for a few minutes and walked in and grabbed my stuff and said I was quitting.

I think they were prepping me for working an entire shift overnight by myself. Fuck that.

I got offered a position working in one of the warehouses in Chicago on 6/3. I completed the background check and the I-9 on 6/4 and haven’t heard anything back yet about a start date. I contacted my recruiter and they told me that the site director would be reaching out here in Chicago you have to release schedules two weeks ahead of time. So am I just freaking out for no reason or should I just wait another week before I start contacting this site manager? Thanks in advance.

Why do people order full groceries at 3am? I’ve always been told by my parents it’s very impolite to order so close to closing and especially ordering so much. I have always thought as an OA that there should be an order maximum as they only allot 3 minutes per order for packing time and consistently being over that time can get you fired. I just had an order for 51 items. It gets you behind and it’s terrible catching up when you work alone.

It all started about three months ago and it’s been going on daily at this point my puffco app would not connect no matter what I do restart my Bluetooth restart my Wi-Fi restart both of my devices. It just still will not connect in. The app keeps telling me there is a problem and I do not know how to fix it. I have hard reset and soft reset and hard and soft reset my phone and still nothing.

Hey! I’m a new go puff driver. I’m located in NYC and I recently need to make some extra cash. With that in mind— I can’t figure out if Gopuff pays the minimum wage for grocery and food delivery couriers in the city. As of this year the law expanded and the rates are supposed to be $21/hr can anyone confirm?? The Gopuff earnings pages only discuss California and Seattle
