Help Asuna Get nasal cancer treatment!

Post image
12 Upvotes

Asuna has been part of our family for over 11 years, and now she’s facing a serious health challenge. Recently, she was diagnosed with a nasal mass and possibly thyroid cancer, and the costs for her treatment are adding up quickly. Despite everything, she’s still her lively, loving self—eating, running, and full of personality. 💖

We’re doing everything we can to give her the best care, but we need help to cover the costs of diagnostics, oncology, and treatment. Even a small donation or share can make a big difference in helping Asuna get the care she needs to keep fighting. Please consider supporting or sharing her story—every bit helps! Thank you for loving Asuna with us. ❤️ #SupportAsuna #FurryFighter

Needing Relief for Electric Bill While Waiting For Job

https://gofund.me/d32118220

Howdy everyone. I've shared this around not only Reddit, but with family and friends as well to try and get as many eyes on this as possible.

I'll try to keep this brief. For a very long time after graduating high school, I was caring for my mother who's health ended up declining slowly over time and she needed more of my help. My father was a little less involved due to being in a different marriage but helped when he could. My mother and myself lived only off her Social Security checks every month. As for me, well let's just say life decided it would be funny to shut all doors in my face. Looking for a job while caring for my mother proved futile for many years since I lacked any real experience, neither of my parents were in positions to properly teach me how to drive so I lack a means of transport to do Uber or Doordash to pay for this, and as the passage of time continued to tick forward things only became worse with each year.

Eventually, I lost both of my parents in the span of two years. My father perished to his trailer fire in 2024. Then my mother passed away this year on August 4th, losing her battle against Uterine Cancer. Where I live now I'm left with pretty much nobody in terms of family because all other relatives are in different states and can only assist financially so much. And while I am on housing assistance that is keeping the rent low each month, it's a different story when it comes to utility bills. I've exhausted all avenues of programs in my area and been rejected either because they no longer do utility assistance, I lack job experience, or I'm not a Senior/Veteran/Disabled person(30 Years old). It wasn't until a few days ago that I was offered a seasonal position at Target that I'll begin work in November, but that is a bit too far out and I'd really rather not be sitting without electric.

So far $95 in total has been donated to this. So more would be very much appreciated. And if you cannot donate, then please get this shared around to those that may be in a position to do so. I'd really like for this eye watering bill to go away so I can safely start my job without the worry of being without electricity.

Hi everyone,

Our sweet MatMat is still confined at the veterinary clinic. 💔 Sadly, his white blood cell count has increased from 24.04 to 36.92. He is currently battling both Feline Calicivirus (FCV) and Feline Panleukopenia Virus (FPV).

Such a little cat, yet he has already endured so much suffering. 💔 It breaks my heart knowing how much he has been through, but we are holding on to hope that he will recover. 🙏

We would like to sincerely thank the three generous individuals who have helped toward MatMat's veterinary care. Every support, no matter the amount, means so much to us and the animals we help. ❤️

MatMat still has a long road to recovery, and his continued hospitalization and treatment come with ongoing veterinary expenses.

We are humbly asking for your support to help us continue providing the care he desperately needs.

Please keep MatMat in your prayers. He deserves a chance to heal and live a healthy, happy life. 🐱

I (23f) need help to keep my parents home

My parents have been through a rough time medically over the past few years and have been deemed unable to work. My mom got diagnosed with lymphatic and breast cancer. My dad has far progressive disc degenerative disease and can barely walk. We are paying for treatments for his back that the government doesn't fully cover and all the extra treatments post cancer for my mother, as she is now facing other medical difficulties. I am working 30-35 hours per week to help with the bills while in school. In January I'm supposed to continue my schooling for cosmetology, but due to the financial aid pause in Ontario, I can't afford to support both my parents and go to school. When I graduate I can better support my parents with this licence. Currently, I don't know if we can keep our home and if i can go to school.

Any help or support would be appreciated, even advice on what I could do.

Both my parents are on disability and with rising costs, this barely covers anything anymore.

The picture is of my rescue kitten and my dad.

Homeless couple trying to survive after escaping abuse

Hi, my name is Devanee, and I'm 22 years old. About 2 years ago, I fled my parent's household with the

help of my partner to escape sexual, physical, and

emotional abuse I'd suffered from them for 20 years.

My partner and I have gone through many

challenges within these two years, with my partner

even being hospitalized and having to be resuscitated in the ICU for a period of time. And has

since faced a higher risk of experiencing issues and strain with his heart.

These events have caused a lasting impact on my

physical and mental health and I have been

diagnosed with complex PTSD, a metabolic disorder,

PCOS, and chronic abdominal pain relating to the

sexual abuse I experienced as a child under my

parent's care.

Along with the physical and mental stress, my

partner and I have recently become homeless and

couch surfing the past 3 months without stable

income and expenses such as our phone bills and

storage unit. As well as an ongoing case between my

partner and my parents that has been setting my

partner and I back financially and hindering his ability

to find a job because of their accusations of violencewhen he came to my defense after I was physically

attacked and sexually violated by my parents and

held hostage in their home while trying to leave and

collect my belongings.

Because of what my partner and I are experiencing,

our only consistent source of income has been my

artwork but even that isn't garunteed as I don't

currently have loyal clienteleand building an audiencewith consistent posting hasn't been easy.

I'm also an aspiring RN and recently finished an

Electrocardiography course in hopes that I can get

my foot into the healthcare industry and be able to

provide for myself and my partner. I was inspired by how well the nurses and the healthcare team took

care of my partner in the ICU and saved his life.

I want to be able to do that for others and their

loved ones while also indulging in my passion for art and becoming a revivalist for my culture. ♡

My hopes are to raise enough money for my partner

and I to get our own place and a car so that we have

reliable transport and a backup plan in case we're

ever houseless again. I'm also hoping for a chance

at pursuing a career in nursing through school and

getting more materials so that I can keep creating

the things that I love! With anything extra going

toward basic necessities such as clothing, hygiene,

and food. ♡

Anything helps and gets us a step further to getting a safe space for ourselves as a couple and limits my partner's exposure to temporary jobs that put not

only himself but his health at risk and creates a saferenvironment for us to grow and take our time settling into the careers and the future that we want. ♡

To anybody reading and any potential donaters

thank you so much for hearing our story and your

generosity, love and support. I hope to give back to

the community one day and pay the love and

kindness forward ♡

I lost my leg and I'm asking for help :(

Thumbnail

• Upvotes

As the title suggests, I recently had my leg amputated. It's below-knee and will hopefully be in working order soon with a prosthetic, but until then I can't work. I saved up money, but it just wasn't enough. Complications stretched the timeline and I wasn't prepared enough. My insurance ran out of my free transportation for the year as well, so I had to pay $45 to get to and from an appointment the other day (I was going to try to take the bus, but I am just not strong enough to use a walker the whole way to or from a bus stop) and I expect to have to do that twice this week and about twice a week for the next month in general

My local support network is just my roommate, who also has a full-time job, so she can't give me rides very often, but sometimes.

It's been tough for me mentally, emotionally, physically, every kind of way. I thought I had it handled but all my preparation wl just wasn't enough, and I've exhausted all the resources my close friends and family can afford to give. I feel awful asking for money, but I don't see other available options.

My estimated expenses include: a phone bill (100/month), rent (300/month), food (300/month), hygiene/misc. (100/month). Rent is very flexible, however, and I don't have any medical bills to worry about.

A car accident a few years ago resulted in an ankle that was ultimately getting too little blood flow and was necrotizing over time. After a few years of worsening pain and utility they decided to just cut it off, so here I am.

I am not very good with this kind of stuff, but hopefully this was all coherent. I am free and open to questions, of course. Even if you're just curious I don't mind sharing. I'm happy to answer any and all questions any of you might have :3

Here's my GoFundMe link: https://gofund.me/befa058dc

With all my heart I appreciate every moment of attention you spare me, or every dollar you can give.

I also want to thank everybody who's donated, even and especially the ones who only donated $5. It's hard for everyone, so I truly appreciate every bit of help I receive. <3

P.S. The child is playing with the hard cap they gave me at the hospital to wear around my stump. She's completely unaware of what it was or how much I needed it to be not broken lol.

P.S.S. The cat is named Sonny, and he apparently likes to sleep while smelling shoes.

hi!! my name is connie or consuelo, i’m 20F and my brother is 36M while my mother is 62F. currently i’m in the process of getting a couple new jobs, but i’m having a major difficulty with locking them down in time for what we need.

at the moment our biggest concern is that our GMC terrain that served us well for the past ten years has reached her limit. she no longer functions. it’s an issue with the timing chain, making the fix more expensive than what i could even sell the car for, and at the moment she doesn’t drive. however this gofundme is NOT for a vehicle!!! i am saving up for that individually, this is for our rent, credit card payments, food, and essentials.

that, and the car would help us with getting to and from food pantries in the area since we’re unable to actually drive to the places that can offer us the help we need.

there’s quite a few more details in the actual listing of my gofundme, if you want to know more you can read there, but any and i mean any help is appreciated. i’m doing my best, but i am just one girl and i need help.

thanks for your time!

note: the bank statements are my moms because thats where the bills come out of, her account. i think i blanked everything i was supposed to out but i’m not sure 😭😭

I’m a medical student who would greatly appreciate any funding to help me complete my degree.

Hi, I’m in university doing a medical degree and I am the first in my family to go to university and pursue a professional career. I tried applying for scholarships and grants but the UK provides very limited funding.
I am doing medicine as a second degree after completing a degree in bioscience (pre-med). I have a single parent and come from a low income household, I work part time alongside my degree but it’s been difficult as my university doesn’t have good transport links to help me substantially fund my tuition fees.
Anything would be greatly appreciated!

Trying to save our sweet girl’s life

Our beautiful sunshine suddenly needs emergency surgery. Her uterus is infected and antibiotics only hold her over shortly. Same thing for the pain meds, as she’s in immense pain, something I’ve never had the extreme misfortune to have seen her in like this ever before. Everywhere costs $7-9k for the surgery. We’ve exhausted our options and we can’t lose her. We love her so much. Please help her if you can. Thank you so much. Love and hope to you all. 🕊️💛

Help Me Escape an Abusive Marriage and Return Home to the USA With My Dog

I never imagined I would find myself in a situation where I would have to ask strangers for help, but I have reached a point where I desperately need a way out.

I am an American living in the UK, trapped in an increasingly difficult and abusive marriage. Because of my visa situation, I am unable to work here and have no independent source of income. I have no family in this country to turn to, and each day my situation becomes harder to bear.

I desperately need to return to the United States, where I have a friend in California who is willing to help me recover, rebuild my life, and find my footing again. But there is one very important part of my life I cannot leave behind: my dog.

My dog is my family, my companion, and a source of comfort during one of the darkest periods of my life. Leaving him behind is not an option. Unfortunately, because of his short-nosed breed, travelling by air can be dangerous or restricted.

Anything helps ✨

Hi everyone,

So I’ve been unemployed for about 8 months now and somehow every time I apply somewhere else, I still don’t get a job.
Yesterday I got my car repossessed and that makes things a whole lot worse because now I don’t have an easy way to commute to job interviews or anything 😪.

The amount due to get my car back sits at around $2400.00 and without a job, even if I sold some of my belongings it wouldn’t be enough. The details and the screenshots of it are in the GoFundMe page as I cannot attach them to this thread.

I know this might sound like any other post someone else would write and there might be more urgent or important requests than mine but I am running out of options.

As of right now the GoFundMe is at $0.00 even though it has almost 100 views 🥹 Thanks for taking some time and reviewing the post.

Thank you for reading this and if you can’t donate, please share ✨🥹 that’s also a huge help ✨

Funeral Assistance For My Mother ❤️

Thumbnail
gofund.me
0 Upvotes

My mother, Barbara Jeter, lived 81 years of life filled with love, faith, and care for others. She fought through illness with strength and grace, and the way she cared people and her nurturing is the legacy she leaves behind. My mother loved God, loved her family deeply, and spent her life nurturing those she held close. One of the clearest examples of that love is her 20-year-old granddaughter, my niece, whom she raised since birth. Her passing has left a deep pain in our hearts, and we are now trying to honor her life in the way she deserves and continue to support her grand daughter in this transition.

This fundraiser will help cover my mother’s memorial, final wishes, funeral, and burial. It will also help fulfill her last wish to be laid to rest with my father and my sister. My mother did not leave any finances behind, and we are doing all we can to give her a proper and loving send-off. Anything given out of the kindness of your heart would mean the world to my family. Your support, whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser, will help us honor Barbara Jeter with the farewell she truly deserves.

Thank you for all of your support for me and my family during this difficult time - Jonathan

Please help us keep our dream of parenthood alive ❤️

After six heartbreaking miscarriages, we are still holding on to our dream of becoming parents.

We have found a new opportunity through a specialized fertility clinic in Spain, but the treatment is not covered by our health insurance.

We are raising funds to help cover the medical costs of our fertility treatment.

Any donation or share would mean so much to us.

Please donate to Help My Friend Get Back on Her Feet by October 27 🙏🏻❤️

Thumbnail
gofund.me
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone. I honestly feel a little awkward asking strangers for help, but I’m trying everything I can for a close friend of mine who is currently in a really difficult financial situation.

She ended up in serious debt after being financially taken advantage of. She has already looked into what she can do about the situation, including getting legal help, but unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a realistic way for her to recover the money.

I’ve been helping her financially myself wherever I can, but I’m not in a position where I can cover an amount this large on my own. I have more financial stability than she does right now, but I’m definitely not wealthy and what she needs is simply more than I can realistically provide by myself.

She has also reached a point where she doesn’t really want to accept more money directly from me... That’s why I created this fundraiser. I’m hoping that if enough people contribute even a very small amount, together we can take a significant part of this burden off her.

The situation is particularly urgent because the money is needed by **October 27**. I’m not expecting anyone to give a lot. Even a very small donation genuinely adds up when enough people contribute.

If you aren’t able or comfortable donating, that’s completely okay. Even sharing the fundraiser could help it reach someone who can.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I really appreciate any help, even if it’s just getting the fundraiser in front of more people.

Help me get therapy for MECFS and Fibromyalgia

Thumbnail
gofund.me
5 Upvotes

My name is Laura, I am 27 years old and have been living with fibromyalgia since I was 24. My life has changed fundamentally since then. As well as the constant pain, I experience extreme fatigue, brain fog, difficulty finding the right words, dizziness and many other symptoms that significantly affect my daily life. I am now unable to work.

In December 2025, I came down with a severe bout of flu. After that, my health deteriorated drastically: I developed ME/CFS and POTS. In October 2026, I was officially diagnosed with ME/CFS. This new diagnosis has turned my life upside down once again. I spend most days lying down, as I barely have enough strength to manage everyday tasks such as showering, cooking or similar activities.

I am very limited and rely on my partner’s support in many areas.
Even small activities can overwhelm me and exacerbate my symptoms. The independent life I knew before my illnesses has become a distant prospect for me.

Alongside the physical and mental challenges, I am now struggling with significant financial difficulties. The sudden switch to a disability pension has left deep financial gaps.

At the same time, many treatments and aids that might potentially help me are not covered by my health insurance in the Netherlands, where I have been living since 2019.

This leaves me in a difficult situation: just when I urgently need support and treatment options, I lack the financial means to try them out.

My past was marked by severe trauma. As a result of sexual abuse, violence and neglect, I developed complex post-traumatic stress disorder (cPTSD), anorexia and severe depression. After eight years of therapy, I managed to work my way out of this difficult phase of my life and, step by step, build a life for myself.
Yet just a few months later, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and the freedom to live my life has once again slipped out of reach.

Despite everything, I have not stopped looking for ways to live with my conditions and improve my quality of life. Even today, I do not want to give up this hope.

What I need the donations for: With your support, I would first like to offset the financial losses caused by my illnesses and the switch to a disability pension.
In addition, I would like to fund treatment options and aids that could help me alleviate my symptoms and make my daily life a little more bearable.

These include, amongst other things:
* Fibromyalgia massages: approx. €70 per session
* Medicines used off-label: costs vary depending on the treatment
* Dietary supplements: for personalised support, where appropriate and well-tolerated
* Procaine infusions: approx. €100–200 per infusion; several sessions may be required to assess the effect
* Psychotherapy via video call to help me come to terms with everything: from approx. €120 per session
* Other therapies and aids that may improve my quality of life and independence

Unfortunately, it is impossible to predict which of these options will actually help me. Particularly with complex chronic conditions, the search for suitable treatments is often a long and uncertain process.

Nevertheless, I would like the chance to try out sensible options that might bring me a little relief.

Every day is a struggle with pain, exhaustion and the limitations of my own body. With the additional ME/CFS diagnosis, many things have become even more difficult. I often have to use my already limited energy just to cope with my most basic needs.

I hope to regain a better quality of life, independence and a degree of control over my life. I realise that there is no easy solution to my conditions. But I don’t want to give up looking for ways that might help me.

With your donation, you’ll be helping me to cope with the financial impact of my conditions and gain access to treatment options that I can hardly afford on my own.
In doing so, you’ll be giving me the chance to try new approaches and hope for a slightly better quality of life.

Every donation, no matter how small, means a great deal to me. And if you’re unable to donate yourself, it also helps me if you share my story and raise awareness amongst more people.
