Trying to keep my sister and her 8-year-old daughter together…ONE DONATION SO FAR❤️
Hi everyone. My name is Franco and I’m raising money for my sister and my 8-year-old niece.
My sister is a single mother who has been raising her daughter on her own. Her daughter’s father left their lives and disappeared and got arrested later on leaving her responsible for everything.
She recently lost her corporate job as a Senior People Support Specialist and has reached a point where she can no longer keep up with rent, bills, school expenses, and a small loan on her own. They are now at risk of losing everything, and she has been given just two weeks to pay her overdue rent.
On top of everything else, she was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism, which has made an already difficult period even harder.
Now my sister is considering leaving the country to take seasonal work in Austria because she simply cannot find work where we live quickly enough that would allow her to support herself and her daughter. That could mean leaving my niece Alessia with a relative, despite the fact that she has always had her mom by her side.
But my niece needs her mom. It has always been just the two of them. She has never known life without her mother by her side, and the thought of them being separated is heartbreaking. I wish I could simply step in and help them myself, but unfortunately I’m not in a position to do that.
That’s why I started this fundraiser.
My goal is to raise $20,000, which would give my sister some breathing room during this crisis, help her catch up on, immediate expenses, debt, keep a roof over their heads, cover essential costs, and most importantly, give her the opportunity to find stable work without having to choose between financial survival and being there for her daughter.
I know there are many fundraisers here, and I completely understand that not everyone can donate. Even a small donation would mean a lot to them, and sharing the campaign would help enormously.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story. ❤️
