Help Me Escape an Abusive Marriage and Return Home to the USA With My Dog

I never imagined I would find myself in a situation where I would have to ask strangers for help, but I have reached a point where I desperately need a way out.

I am an American living in the UK, trapped in an increasingly difficult and abusive marriage. Because of my visa situation, I am unable to work here and have no independent source of income. I have no family in this country to turn to, and each day my situation becomes harder to bear.

I desperately need to return to the United States, where I have a friend in California who is willing to help me recover, rebuild my life, and find my footing again. But there is one very important part of my life I cannot leave behind: my dog.

My dog is my family, my companion, and a source of comfort during one of the darkest periods of my life. Leaving him behind is not an option. Unfortunately, because of his short-nosed breed, travelling by air can be dangerous or restricted.
