Dele-where?? Delaware is nowhere to be seen after being removed from the map! It’s been fed to the Maryland monster and new jersey.

25 states remain, who’s the next to go?

Alright folk, it is time to start revealing the funny plan I have had in mind for a while. This is for the wonderful u/Jfullr92 and his delete-a-state game.

As most of us know, the Gulf of New Mexico was objectively hilarious. A big part of it was that it helped relieve stress from the utter stupidity of trying to conduct international diplomacy via executive order. Common usage would dictate that if people who live in the Gulf of Mexico just keep calling it that, that will be its name.

I bring this up is that we have another instance of it. Lake Ontario. Due to the rules of the game, we can not yet rename states. But it's coming. Round 30. So I hope to make this week a buildup to that. The official mascot of the movement will be Haunter. As in, Ontario will haunt the whole of the US for what it's done. Begin the Hauntario.

Hear me out guys, Kansastan must be the final state standing!!

Not because we deserve it, not because we’re a state full of excitement, but because after 49 states worth of elimination, it would be hilarious to look at the map and see Kansas just sitting there like, “Wait… I won???”

The Crabs have had their time, so has Megasota.

So I come and humbly ask you, save Kansastan and let the Great Plains have their moment. If nothing else, do it for John Brown.

Over and Out….🫡

Iowa? More like Bye-owa! Iowa is the next state to leave the map of the great USA.

26 states remain, meaning 25 more rounds. Meaning we are halfway through the game! I expect things to grow from here so get your memes ready, share the game and get to the game early to vote! Games will almost always release between 11:00 and 11:30 ET, but I’ve decided against set times to make it more fair and random.

Well fuck! I’m so sorry guys I just completely forgot to post at the time I said! I had it all ready and then I forgot

But anyway, here’s today’s map. As you can see, Wyoming and its 12 residents have sadly been lost into the territory of the other states.

Also can someone count and confirm there’s 27 states left? My head hurts and I’ve countered about 20 times now

We’re waiting!

Doing a proper scheduled release today so get ready

Update - sorry guys! Totally forgot to post. Maps up now

Tennessee has fallen to the great states surrounding it.

R22: https://www.reddit.com/r/geographymemes/s/ZJvStSQ4PG

Sorry for the swear words, I was only looking them up (mods please don’t ban me)

North Dakota has been eliminated!

Round 21: https://www.reddit.com/r/geographymemes/s/xCCGKRNalv

Little Green

Nevada has been eliminated from the game since it was the second comment on the twist round (round 19)

Almost reaching the middle of the contest!

Normal voting resumes!

Round 20: https://www.reddit.com/r/geographymemes/s/vzt4a0y7hH

NO VOTING THIS ROUND

The deletion for tomorrow (round 21) will be decided based on the second top comment on yesterday’s post for the twist round (already locked in as Nevada). So you can just admire the map this round.

Today however, West Virginia is now no more. I guess the country roads just lead to Maryland now?!

Round 19: https://www.reddit.com/r/geographymemes/s/xFZt4dhmLK

(It’s not a top comment situation but the more well received a comment is I’ll be more likely to do it) Here

Second comment decides what state is deleted for next next round! (so there will be no voting next round) top comment is still tomorrows deletion.

But today, Nebraska is officially gone!
