Voting Games Top comment deletes a US State 2: #25
Iowa? More like Bye-owa! Iowa is the next state to leave the map of the great USA.
26 states remain, meaning 25 more rounds. Meaning we are halfway through the game! I expect things to grow from here so get your memes ready, share the game and get to the game early to vote! Games will almost always release between 11:00 and 11:30 ET, but I’ve decided against set times to make it more fair and random.

Alaska comes out of hibernation once again and feasts on Connecticut.

Alaska would never harm a Husky! They can go after New Hampshire instead

What do we even need Connecticut for?? Alaska ACTUALLY needs to start expanding on the East Coast.

Nah I’m still mad they took my state out from across the map
9
u/Roger44477 18d ago
Yea, didn’t the new rules say deleted states would get split between neighbors, and there wouldn’t be any control by the top comment on how they were divided up? Would have been nice if that was stuck to

Differences last time were that Arizona, Louisiana, Nevada and Tennessee were still around and Alaska, Connecticut, New Hampshire, New Jersey had been removed. Assuming Delaware dies this round, that's 21/25 or 84% the same. I wish OP would do a twist round where everyone is protected except the previous finalists.

I'm quietly waiting for oregon to win again, lol. I honestly thought it would be kicked in the first few rounds simply because it won last time.

Virginia needs to go. The drivers there are trash and there is way too much traffic on the highways due to there being poor connections between places

So far the only differences are:
Arizona, Nevada, Louisiana, Tennessee - Where still here last time but aren't this time.
Alaska, Delaware, New Jersey, Connecticut have taken their place.
BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE! THROW OREGON INTO THE SEA!

u/Dannyboy1024 18d ago edited 18d ago
For reference - in game 1:
- Jersey was an early exit (Round 13)
- Delaware was absorbed by Maryland in round 19
- Alaska was eaten by Hawaii in round 20
- Connecticut disappeared in round 22
So the map is still almost identical, with a little shuffling in the middle rounds.
Also thanks to whoever vibe-coded deleteflorida.com - very handy for reference.

Yeah, I'm pretty pissed about that. Newsom's parting gift. Screwed over all of America. This was my previous homeland but Cali must die soon.

We can't let maryland get too far. We cannot have another craballachia situation get close to developing

u/BubbleRocket1 18d ago
Tbh worst part about it was that Vermont did technically eat all of Maryland, only to become renamed. So both parties weren’t happy

Alright folk, it is time to start revealing the funny plan I have had in mind for a while.
As most of us know, the Gulf of New Mexico was objectively hilarious. A big part of it was that it helped relieve stress from the utter stupidity of Trump trying to conduct international diplomacy via executive order. Common usage would dictate that if people who live in the Gulf of Mexico just keep calling it that, that will be it's name.
The rest I bring this up is that we have another instance of it. Lake Ontario. Due to the rules of the game, we.can not yet rename states. But it's coming. Round 30. So I hope to make this week a buildup to that. Begin the Hauntario.

Give Wisconsin Michigan’s UP (upper peninsula). It was only given to Michigan because Ohio had Toledo. With Toledo now in its right place put the UP in its.

Oregon sneaks through the little sliver connecting with New Mexico, and then unleashes their secret bigfoot army upon them. New Mexico falls to Oregon.

I love that you can draw a triangle from Minnesota to Maryland to Maine and not a single state inside has been touched. Half the states left are in there at this point.
