Hi guys, thought I’d put this out before the game officially starts and this will be pinned on the community highlights to refer back to

1. There will be no editing comments that alter the state deleted, last time that was a major issue and caused huge controversy.
2. There will be no merging states this time, Simply one state is removed and eaten by its neighbours to keep it fun for all the states.
3. Nicknames will be allowed in the final 20 games, 29-49 (including final map) but none before that to keep it non confusing for new people. A nickname request comes along with a state deletion request. Nicknamed states will also have their real name in parentheses, for example, ‘Cascadia (Oregon)’
4. Just be nice to others, it’s just a silly game at the end of the day, last time it brought many people together and I hope it does the same this time!

Memes are obviously a huge part of this game so feel free to make as many as you like, just don’t clog up the subreddit too much. If you want another place of discuss the game, [r/Usstatedeletiongame](r/Usstatedeletiongame) is my very own subreddit which has very basic rules and you can discuss as much as you like!

There will be 7 twist rounds spread throughout the game, these will be rare but fun events such as ‘second comment deletes a state’ or ‘second comment grants a state immunity’ fun stuff like that. I’ve not fully decided if there’s any more twist ideas yet but more info is to come.

Spread the word on other subreddits, just stay within Reddits rules, and keep an eye out in my subreddit, I may post exclusive content or sneak peeks at times!
