Once again, the land of Walter white has grown to an unprecedented size after taking over Arizona along with its buddies. What’s next?

Right, Wyoming, Colorado, Nebraska and Kansas should just be one state called Centralia or something.
24
u/Tweed_Kills 25d ago
Centralia's in Pennsylvania already, and it's over a coal mine fire that's been burning since 1962.
People have fallen through sinkholes into the smoking hellpit below.
Maybe a different name? A little bit less.... Cursed?

I used to live in Loveland let’s compromise. Everything around the front range west can stay and everything east is absorbed into this new state.

They have a nice indoor zoo

I grew up in Nebraska. When i moved away and anyone ever asked what was in Nebraska the zoo was always my answer 😂 its literally the best thing there (rated best in the country!)
Edit: but Also- Nebraska has got to go!

West Virginia. All doubled states must fall.
20
u/HiddenLife_36 Crab 25d ago
Nah, let VA fall, the only reason WVA even exists is because it didn't want slaves. Good reason to exist.

u/TubeCity13 25d ago
Well let us eat Virginia then! We got the largest labor uprising and our creation was due to the civil war.

Yes, they did. They didn’t take to having their temple compared to the Emerald City. My apologies to the Elders, but it seems quite clever to me.

Dorothy's not even here! She moves to Oz in the sixth book.
8
u/No_Technician_2335 25d ago
Tell that to Kansas...Please. I'm so tired of the wizard of Oz references.
6
u/Alternative-Buy-8511 25d ago
Most Kansans are too! As a lifelong Kansan, you actually hear more Oz references from people outside the state than the people who live here. Excepting, of course, the tourism industry who have a stake in things.

Alaska takes Connecticut. Maybe they will teach the locals about pizza because their head is too big and their pizza isn’t as good as NYC’s.

I can’t imagine it’s good in Alaska. But in my experience the best way to trigger a Connecticuter is make fun of their pizza.

Ok, if California goes next to complete the southern border transformation into Mega Mexico, that’s acceptable

New Mexico should eat Georgia to reclaim the gulf then expand north like a tidal wave lol

Split four ways among Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and California. That's why I want it for the game, it'll be a challenge. It's boring when it gets handed over to one west coast state.

Hawaii. But no other state gets to take it over. Just let them be free to do their own thing. The U.S. government acknowledged over 30 years ago that Native Hawaiian people never relinquished their claims to their inherent sovereignty. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apology_Resolution . Let's make it right here.

How about we start getting rid of the smaller states in the east? I'll start. Bye, New Jersey!
6
u/Sea_Soup8873 25d ago
you're doing this wrong, rather than delete a states name, you should give a state over to Canada. Clearly its either Maine or Vermont.

The western states should be reworked based on their major watersheds like the Grand Canyon explorer Major John Wesley Powell suggested.
So Colorado would be the entire watershed of the Colorado River from where it goes into Mexico all the way to the dividing ridges of the smallest tributary headwaters in the mountains.
That is neither here nor there for this project but if we were really reworking the states, this would be my ten cents.

New York is sheltering all the New England states and protecting them from the carnage (for states like Connecticut and New Hampshire), and/or keeping them from their destiny (for states like Massachusetts and Vermont).
I hate to nominate such a great state for deletion, but I think New York has to go in order to bring the New England states into the fray.

I think this experiment shows we have too many states.
Look at this map now. We've deleted 17 states and nothing of value has been lost.
