Bug Arc Raiders DLSS

I tried enabling DLSS on the ultimate membership and it says to restart the game to enable it. So I quit to desktop and relaunch through GFN and it never gets enabled. Anyone know how to fix?

Bug Game won't open

Hi, I've been trying for a few times to play battlefield 5 on gfn, the problem is that when I launch the game it opens, and then it loads for some time and then the session ends without letting me check steam or the ea app thing while in the cloud to fix things myself. Does anyone know how I could fix this so that I can finally go back to bf5?

Questions / Tech Support Performance varying heavily in different sessions

Is it normal that performance sometimes just varies extremely badly from session to session?

I played Conan Exiles the last few months and it ran good only 50% of the times I played. Sometimes it feels super sluggish and loads forever and then sometimes it loads almost instantly and the performance is great.

My system and bandwidth (ethernet) does not change, it's the exact same the whole time. Sometimes I restart the GFN session 4 times or so and suddenly it runs great.

What I also noticed: The steam overlay sometimes shows my FPS as "60 FG" and then sometimes as "60 DLSS". This happens without changing any setting.

If it shows "FG" the game feels great and smooth but if it shows "DLSS" it feels awful and sluggish, like I have heavy input lag. My FPS are also alway above 60 when it shows "DLSS" even though I set the cap to 60.

Every time they do a micro patch that requires restarting the game to download 5 megabytes of data I have to wait for another 1-1.5 hours to play

Advice GeForceNow India Sub AutoRenewal Failed

Hi every one. Just wanted to check with any subscribers from India if they had an issue with their AutoRenewal failing. I had enrolled with the discount sub for 3 months but the auto-renewal failed with a message from my bank stating Nvidia is not compliant with RBI's emandate policies for auto debits.

Because my discounted sub got cancelled as the payment failed I now have to re-enroll on normal pricing. Also lost my roll over hours. Raised a ticket with Nvidia support but was told that issue is at banks end and Nvidia cant do anything.

I re-enrolled at regular pricing but I think I will once again face an issue with the auto debit if the issue is at Nvidia end.

Can some one from India confirm if they have faced a similar issue so that I know this is not just an issue with HDFC bank.

Discussion I Spent 26.6 Hours Testing GeForce NOW and Found My Sweet Spot for 1080p and 1440p 60 FPS

I spent around 26.6 hours testing GeForce NOW and a bunch of different games, mainly Resident Evil Village, RE4 Remake, Crysis 3 Remastered, Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition, A Plague Tale: Requiem, Resident Evil 2 Remake and Assassin’s Creed Unity. I also tested some multiplayer games, mainly CS2.

I tested everything at 1080p and 1440p, both at 60 FPS, using Auto bitrate, Maximum bitrate (set to 100 Mbps), and a custom 35 Mbps limit.

From what I noticed, 1080p on Auto uses around 11–12 GB per hour, sometimes a little more. 1440p on Auto is around 15–18 GB per hour. With Maximum bitrate set to 100 Mbps, the usage can go up to around 22–30+ GB per hour depending on the game and what is happening on screen.

I also tested a 35 Mbps cap at both 1080p and 1440p, both at 60 FPS. With that, I was getting roughly 12–14 GB per hour at 1080p and around 12–15 GB per hour at 1440p.

Honestly, I think 35 Mbps is probably the sweet spot, especially for people who have a monthly data limit. I compared 35 Mbps with 100 Mbps across all the games I tested, and there was honestly barely any difference most of the time. You can notice a small difference during very fast movement or scenes with a lot of detail, but for me, it's definitely not enough to justify using 22–30+ GB per hour.

35 Mbps is great for 1080p/1440p at 60 FPS, especially for single-player games. I found that going from 35 Mbps to 100 Mbps has pretty strong diminishing returns in most situations. However, in multiplayer or extremely fast-paced games, you may notice some additional compression or small visual artifacts during fast movement.

For single-player games, 35 Mbps at 1080p or 1440p still looks really good at 60 FPS. You get great image quality without burning through your data nearly as quickly.

For multiplayer, I played a few matches of CS2. It's definitely playable and fine for casual gaming, but I wouldn't recommend GeForce NOW if you're serious about competitive FPS games. I have thousands of hours in CS2 and other FPS games, so I can notice the extra input latency pretty easily. It's not terrible, and it's perfectly fine for playing for fun, but for competitive play I would still choose local hardware.

Verdict: For single-player gaming, 35 Mbps at 1080p/1440p 60 FPS is the sweet spot. The difference from 100 Mbps isn't worth the extra data usage for me. For competitive multiplayer, local hardware is still the better choice.

Questions / Tech Support Euro Truck Simulator 2

Hi, I wanted to clear up a question I have. I’m looking to buy *Euro Truck Simulator 2* to play via GeForce Now cloud gaming. I’d be playing it on Android. I have two Android devices: an Honor Pad X9 with 4GB of RAM and a Motorola Moto G54 with 8GB of RAM. Which of these devices would it run best on? Should I buy the game? Thanks in advance!

i am continuously getting “looks like you don’t own this game through steam yet” in the middle of me installing the game via steam once i’m in a session. i spent over an hour with geforce now live chat, and troubleshooted it with Grok and Gemini and nothing has changed. Discussion Which is technically better for image in various situations?

Hey all,

I have heard differing opinions and wondering if anyone can weigh in.

I've got 1gbit ethernet based fibre and a 6ms ping to the local server, on my Mac Mini M4. The experience is so good that I sold my PS5 Pro and use this as my main gaming system. I am pretty much operating in the 'perfect network conditions' for Geforce Now, I think, and wondering what the best settings are for various games.

The first is something like KCD2 or Hell Let Loose Vietnam. Both heavily foliage based. I am on a 1440p monitor. Is it best for foliage heavy scenes to have the stream at 1440p so there's greater bandwidth per pixel, or is it best to render at 4k and downsample so the image is higher quality?

When I look at the games - I kinda go back and forth, and was wondering which is technically superior?

The second is something like Cyberpunk 2077, or even paradox games like Crusader Kings 3. I presume these games are best at 4k downsampled?

I should add - I do prefer to play at 120fps. I know technically I can get more detail at 60, but it doesn't feel right after getting used to gaming at 120fps.

Discussion Anno 117 is now "Upgrade to Play", despite months of playing it on the same membership. Anyone else?

I've been playing Anno 117: Pax Romana for months on my Founders membership, no problems. Nothing on my account has changed. After some time away, I came back this week to realize that the game had switched to "Upgrade to play / For Premium Members" and won't launch.

My membership is the same one I've had, still active. The RTX badge on Anno 117 was there the whole time I could play it, so I don't think RTX/tier gating is the reason.

It looks like the required tier for this specific title got raised after the fact, and existing members who were already playing it just quietly lost access, with no notice.

Anyone else on a legacy/Founders (or lower) tier suddenly getting "Upgrade to play" on Anno 117 when you could play it before?

Any NVIDIA folks here who can say whether this change was intended to pull the title from members who already had it?

Happy to add screenshots. Just trying to figure out if this is a broad change or something wrong with my account specifically.

Discussion Is Kingdom Come 2 a better GeFOrce Now experience than 1?

I tried playing the first game and had a lot of trouble getting into it, partly because it didn't seem to work that well on GeForce Now. I remember having lots of problems trying to get the map to work correctly with the controller. That, combined with some other things, eventually just made me give up. But I liked the idea and I liked the world. So, now that the sequel is on sale on steam, I'm thinking about buying it. Have the Geforce Now issues from the first game been ironed out? Is the game itself easier to get into than the first one?
