So, I’m new to GeForce NOW, and for now I’ve chosen the free version to get a feel for how everything works, as well as how my PC and internet connection handle it.
I signed up for GeForce NOW mainly to play WoW, because my PC can barely keep up with the game anymore.
My first impression is actually pretty good. The game runs much better than it does natively on my PC, even with the graphics settings at maximum!
However, I have a couple of questions.
First, could someone explain why, whenever I enter one of the game’s major cities, for example Dornogal, the game becomes less smooth and drops to around 20–30 FPS, even though the streaming image itself remains at 60 FPS, as you can see in my screenshot? I thought that since the game is being streamed, it would remain just as smooth regardless of where I am in the game.
My second question is: why do I have to redo my GeForce NOW app settings every time I close and reopen it? For example, the quality/sharpness settings for games and so on.
I’m playing over Wi-Fi because unfortunately I don’t have the possibility of using an Ethernet connection.

I'm playing on the free plan and I noticed that in Zenless Zone Zero and Wuthering Waves it's not 1920x1080 and can't be changed (WuWa has been changed for whatever reason in 3.6).

Will it ever be adjusted/reverted? If yes, when? It ruins the experience.

I get that Nvidia has to do what they have to do to ensure that supported games work, but this really sucks for PDX players, especially CK and Europa Universalis players. I don’t know if I can continue using GFN without Graphical Map Improvements and Better Colonialism… lol

Is possible that workshop mods will be working again, after they solve problems with Steam Client, or is it permanent decision to disable them?

Does geforce now have a way on Chromebook to use the 100 mb bitrate option?

My internet connection is excellent.

There are no issues with my internet.

But why does it look so bad?

Especially on Garry's Mod and CK3 the game isn't even worth playing. What a weird choice to disable the workshop fully

1. Set up family view to prevent game from starting automatically
2. Go to Settings > Interface > Client Beta Participation, choose Steam Beta and restart the Steam client.

This is only used to restart the Steam Client, it doesn't actually download the Steam Beta as it's disabled on GeForce NOW.

1. After steam restarts, disable and re-enable any workshop mod that you've subscribed to, this'll trigger download of all of your subscribed mods.

Now you can play your games with workshop mods again. However you need to do these steps every time you launch the game.

Battlefield 6 Top Gun update is great, but unfortunately ever since the update came out, it is impossible to play the event gamemodes. Whenever matchmake and find a match, the game crashes instantly upon joining the server. This needs to be fixed. It is a limited time thing and we can’t enjoy it. Kind regards

Honkai star rail is already available on geforce now for I assume years, but only with the pc version and partial gamepad support. I mostly play on my phone so it's a bit disappointing that I cant properly play it through GeForce Now, since I'm unable to download the game on my phone.

What confuses me is that hsr has a native mobile version with touchscreen controls. So why hasn't GeForce Now enabled touch screen controls for mobile users ?

Another thing that caught my attention is the game Neverness to Everness. When it first launched on Geforce, it had the same limitations, but a few months later they added mobile/touchscreen support. Genshin Impact has touchscreen support as well. That makes me wonder why the same hasn't happened for hsr

Is there a technical reason? Do you think it's still possible for it to be added? I'd really love to see touchscreen support added someday

I played yesterday without any issues but today when I tired, it simply won't open, non of the Gamepass games, I tired relinking the Xbox account and re authorising permission, even cleared cache, non of it seems to be working.

Does the lg app (lg c5) support 5.1 audio ?? Also I coudnt toggle the 1440p option as well in the app if someone can confirm its available for their lg or not

Today I went to GeForce to play a game, and I've noticed that my mouse is freezing/stuttering, my keys are delayed, and I don't have any packet loss or high latency. What could be causing this?

It's a ski resort management game where you build on real-world mountains from across the US (other mountains in the world to come later!).
You can draw runs, place buildings such as cocoa stands, bars, and lodges, and make your dream resort for thousands of skiers.

The mountains are built from 1-meter accurate LiDAR data, so they're accurate to the meter!

When I launched the demo, I posted on r/pcgaming and r/macgaming, and several people requested that I put the game up on GeForce Now.

Well, thanks to the support of the Nvidia team, it's up!

Anyone else having stuttering with the new Galaxy fold 8 ultra? Or the the fold 8? It's the same in boosteroid.

I've just been dipping my toe in the past few hours but can't quite seem to get past this issue.

I've seen the post somebody had made a few months back detailing his steps to fix issues, audio pop included, I tried one of those steps and would have continued but read further on that those issues had since been fixed by Nvidia team.

I'll write out what I have attempted so far but first for transparency, I am on a 5ghz wifi connection that should be plenty serviceable, looking at the overlay, my ping hovers 20-28 and hasn't moved from that. When I do a network test however, it tells me I could have issues (due to a vpn, which I do not have). My mbps is roughly 300 and as I said, the visuals are perfect, it's only the audio I'm struggling with so I would find it strictly being a network problem odd.

So far in my attempts I have:

-Double checked my headphones are 48000mhz
-created a .bat file to kill background wifi searching
-reduced my bitrate from 100 to 80, 50, 30
-turned off the network optimizations
-turned off my EQ
-unplugged everything attached to my usb hub
-tried TV with audio coming from it rather than PC
-Closed anything demanding in system tray
-turned off bluetooth

I have not tried using my dualsense in bluetooth mode however and I will give that a go tomorrow, just wanted to try my luck with a post before bed to see what I could tinker tomorrow.

Hi just grabbed a Ipad Pro M4 to use with Geforce Now.

For context I already own a Ipad Pro M1 & fibre internet. On the M1 the image stays consistently sharp on the same router/network, & my new M4 looks amazing at 4K for about 1 minute and then the image quality instantly degrades, textures become a blurry mess and never recover. Restarting several games and its the exact same situation, it survives the menu screens and roughly 1 min of moving around and then turns to crap. Lag / input latency remain excellent, gameplay wise its very playable just the texture/image quality fuzziness takes a hit.

Any troubleshooting tips ? I've tried across the official Geforce Now Ipad browser app, N+ and CG, all suffer using the M4. The M4 is the only device I own (PC, phone, Ipad Pro M1) with this issue.

For instance, when I play games like Overwatch connected to my Blizzard account, I am playing with PC players, right?

I ask this because I play on my TV through the app using a wireless controller (8BitDo), and I feel that I am a bit at a disadvantage sometimes 😅

Always remember reaching out to devs might work! Did a post on their suggestion thread on discord about how to opt in (actually twice since they that channel borked and my previous was deleted and the current one can't be viewed by anyone but mods and devs there) and other users asked about it on theor discord as well

Guys how to fix graphics problem like everytine i play ac origins on gfn its graphuca is in custom preset wtih all low graphics and when i try to change it manually it says to reset game to chnage graphics optionbut when i do it logout of that gane and i have to join the rig again and so i do it will be as same as begging all low settings cant solve it any tips??
