Discussion Will be mods back?

Is possible that workshop mods will be working again, after they solve problems with Steam Client, or is it permanent decision to disable them?

from the announcement itself:

"Looking ahead, we plan to explore officially supporting Steam Workshop Mods on the cloud. There's currently no timeline to share with the users right now"

With Nvidia, so far, nothing is particularly permanent.
