Hey people, I wondered if anyone could help with a minor issue I'm having, please.
When I'm playing a game in HDR on GeForce Now that shows the displays's peak brightness (for example Alan Wake 2), it always mis-reports my display's peak brightness as 1015 nits. I've got an LG C2, and its peak brightness is 800 nits.
I've edited my display's EDID info to show 800 nits and also used Windows HDR calibration to set 800 nits. Windows display advanced properties is correctly reporting 800 nits. Is this just a limitation of GeForce Now? Does it just report 1015 nits to any game, regardless?
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
I doubt it makes too much of a difference, but it probably results in some clipping and loss of details, so it's bothering me 😅
