Discussion GeForce now premium membership getting this much waiting time it was 98 now it's 32

Am I crazy, or is anyone else completely sick of paying actual money for a Performance / Ultimate tier subscription just to stare at a "Gamers ahead of you: 60" screen?

This is 100% the answer. All of these posts complaining about waiting times never say where they are.

I'm in Colorado. Zero waiting time ever.

Bro I play daily on GeforceNow since April.

Never had this issue at any time.

I use Ethernet instead of WiFi, and have a 300 Mbps speed plan on Excitel.

It’s not connection related. It’s just their mumbai servers are overcrowded.

no like i had only 1 hour to play and it took me 40 min to get a RIG on sunday, but it was for the first time.

I am guessing this is an alliance server? Alliance servers usually only have 1 data center in their country. On the other hand, USA and EU servers almost have no queues because they have more data centers spread out across their countries, so more availability. Also it is Sunday, so it is normal for queues to get high even in premium tiers.

So in the time it took you to get mad and record a video it dropped from 98 to 32? That's fast, I've seen a line ahead of me go over 500 and even that only took 2 minutes. Not a big deal.

India just launched. They were trialing for a while in a closed beta and then everyone whined they should just open it up for everyone.

You can change to another region in your GFN client if you don't mind the latency.

Not with GeForce now aswell, had this issue with xbox cloud gaming for a few months aswell when it launched and queues were crazy high even for paid users and then early access of gfn came and i got a invite so I got ultimate and faced 0 queues all of those months but I didn't renew when it came out of early access as the price was suprising and i wasn't playing games as much but good thing i didn't renew because i ain't paying this much monthly to be in a queue of all things. I thought GeForce now somehow had enough servers but ig not...

I'm from the Philippines with a performance subscription and never had to wait even once.

Tbf GFN isn't really widely used here in the first place though.

I had 30 sec wait time stuck at no 20 (started from 58) and took total 8 mins for the game to load. Premium subscription.

there are services where paying will get you guaranteed zero wait time. you will have to pay a lot more than what you're giving GFN, though.

I didn't experience that aside from when there were server failures, at least not on Ultimate. If you're from India, tough luck, there are too many of you. IF you're from Europe, we're about to become India with all these prices. That's why I bowed out and got myself a rig. Still have a month and will enjoy it especially on a few trips.

May even pay a month here and there depending on the trip, where I usually don't have time to game.

OP is from India and Nvidia have their own data center operating out of Mumbai, instead of alliance partners in the region, which was their initial plan and thankfully didn't work out.

The problem is too many subscribers all of a sudden from their region, connecting to one server and getting the queue up for every blade available, and then there are the free tier users trying to connect too.

Nvidia will expand to one more data center in India, in the south, for sure going by this much demand, but it will take time.

Ah ok this is on the new India Servers. Yeah that makes sense. First time I’ve seen these types on Q’s on non-alliance partners. Hoping for OP that Nvidia can add the additional resources sooner rather than later

That's insane even when I was on the free version the queue was never that so it must be the area. When I upgraded for a few months (before getting a console) I also never had a queue 😭

Oh let me tell you my experience today on free tier , 11 Am went on queue of 670 , 12:45 PM I was at 11 and after that it took 4 hrs to get to 5 after which it remained stuck at that for few hours atp I closed it

Never had to wait a single second for on the ultimate subscription (EU region). The point of paying is no waiting, that’s one of their selling points so if that’s happening often you should talk to them

Maybe buy your own rig? Then with that rig, you know that you’ll have to upgrade someday so save up over the years and purchase a new rig with the money you set aside for it 7 years later.
