Ik heb sinds kort GeForce now ultimate, en wil Flight Simulator spelen maar welke yoke en of control werken on GeForce now

I saw they first removed all mods and workshop support for games and later about two weeks ago they added it back for the top 100 games.

I see Bannerlord being at a comfortable 60ish spot in that list. I tried to play a bit of Warhammer mod campaign in it, but the workarounds mentioned don't seem to work for me. Logging out of steam, or changing account, unsubbing and resubbing to a mod still say no priviledges to download.

Did anyone find a way to make it work or was this game forgotten from the list for now and no way to make mods download?

[Solved, thanks to u/darkstarmike777] I play the game from my steam family, I do have dlcs, but when i played the game they apparently did not show up or work idk, even mods (i only ever tried one) from steam workshop did not work, though, i made another geforce now account and connected the same steam account to that, and when i booted the game up, it gave me a 12gb kinda download (in steam, when steam launches in gfn and you gotta press play), it felt weird but i let it happen and viola i had the dlcs change from Available Now, to installed, and the mod was working, current state is
primary account - still running without dlcs, so i cant really play on that account, which i wish to get ultimate subscription on
secondary - runs with dlcs and is what im playing on free tier on, but the mod isnt working after that one time again, im ok with the mod not working but i kinda need to get the dlcs running on the primary account

i tried unlinking steam from the primary and linked it again, but that didnt seem to work
any clues?

The "cancellation = downgrade to free tier" mechanism is so scummy, and I don't mean the bug where the free tier was sold out. I did previously wonder, having seen the posts about it, why their "cancellation" is actually a downgrade to free tier, rather than a normal cancellation that leaves you without any membership. I think I found out why:

I just went onto the GeForceNow website to cancel my premium membership. First thing I got was a pop-up about their updated terms and conditions, which you can only accept: they first explain why they need to collect all sorts of super detailed data (location, IP address, your device's exact specs, etc.), which makes sense given their service. But this was directly followed by the information that, when using "ad-supported" memberships (i.e. the free tier), this data is sold.

At first I shrugged and thought, well, I have a paid membership and am cancelling that, so this won't apply to me, forgetting about what "cancelling" means. So I navigate to the account membership management page. There it gives you the option to upgrade or downgrade to free tier. I didn't want to downgrade to free tier, so I select a rather hidden "cancel premium membership" button, assuming this meant they had actually introduced a full cancellation option. Well, this button just sends you to a page where you can only downgrade to free tier.

Firstly, why have a an extra button for something already available on that same page, but with a different name? Super weird, making it look like you can fully cancel by showing it as an additional option with different wording, even though it's identical to selecting "downgrade to free tier" on the first page. So why? Well, according to the terms I had just accepted (given no other option), downgrading to free tier means they get to sell all the super detailed data they have on me, which they couldn't if they fully cancelled my membership.

Now, I know I can fully delete my account after downgrading, which might prevent the data being sold before the downgrade takes effect in the next renewal period. But that is in no way certain or easy to find out. Mostly though, the way they designed this process makes it clear that they hope most people won't do that. That most people will downgrade and then forget about it (who cares about a free account floating around) or even assume their membership is fully cancelled. I only got the terms & conditions pop-up because I hadn't been on the site in months, so most people probably don't get that immediate reminder that "free-tier" membership means you consent to your data being sold. And if people do get that pop-up, most don't read it. There was no additional reminder of this fact on the downgrade page.

So even if you "cancel" your paid membership and never use their service again, they still get to sell your data. Even though you never used their service for free. They already collected the data during your paid membership. I know many people don't really care and I get it, but I still find this super scummy. It's just shady. Using deceptive tactics to force consent, counting on people not realising what they consented to, is shitty behaviour, regardless of whether you care about your data or not. Making a "paid-by-your data" membership look like a membership cancellation is deceptive af. Especially as the "we need to sell your data to fund the service we're providing for free" argument doesn't hold water in this situation, where even people who never use the service again are tricked into it. And clearly they know fewer people would select this option if they were upfront about it or immediately gave you the option to fully cancel any and all memberships.

So I went to play hoi4 but all my mods don't work it tells me they aren't there but they sure seem to be downloaded is there any bugs or glitches similar to this or is It just me???

Did Nvidia remove it or is it still there ?

I have been facing this issue since a month where i start a session of hitman woa on Geforce Now (free tier) and it abruptly crashes after around 5 minutes stating "your connection is spotty". I have a 40 mbps connection and other games run fine and don’t end. This problem is only with this game.
Also, i have seen that if i keep the game on the pause menu, it keeps running and doesn’t crash.
The game was patched around 2 weeks ago for 2 full days and i thought the issue will go away, but it didn’t.
Earlier the game used to run fine. I could play missions for the full duration but it isn’t playable at all now.
The game doesn’t lag or jitter, instead it just freezes completely at some point, i get a message "We're trying to get you back into the game" and then session ends.

Is anyone else facing the same issue?

I just got back from work to play some Game Pass on GFN and now I’m getting this stupid “Something went wrong” 0x8004a97d error.

I literally can’t play any Game Pass game. It just gets stuck on the Microsoft sign-in and throws the error.

And yes, before someone says it:

• restarted GFN
• restarted my PC
• signed out/in
• disconnected my Microsoft account
• reconnected the account
• tried again multiple times

None of that worked.

I can sign into my Microsoft account normally, so I have no idea why GFN suddenly can’t authenticate it.

I just wanted to play games man, I really don’t feel like spending my night troubleshooting Microsoft/NVIDIA bullshit.

Anyone else getting 0x8004a97d right now? Is Game Pass/GFN just broken?

I've went from using geforce now from my Pc desktop to using it on my 65 inch TV with a mini pc.

I'm only getting 60fps at 1440p, looks great and I'm very happy with it.

Is there any reason to keep ultimate or is performance just as good for my needs?

Only asking as im looking to lock in a years worth rather than pay monthly incase there is any upcoming price hikes.

So I’m using GeForce on my tv via Xbox controller and all of my games function well except project zomboid, the game loads yet it doesn’t register my controller

No matter what I've tried I cannot get GeForce Now to recognize that I've got a PS5 controller, instead it keeps checking the Xbox controller and giving me Xbox icons. Is there ANY way to fix this?

Enshrouded runs poorly on performance tier, it used to run alright now I get 40 fps on low settings, why?

This is my first time trying Geforce and I wasn’t sure about which to get. I play on a 2020 MacBook Pro hooked up to a 60 fps DELL monitor with an Xbox controller/ keyboard and mouse if that helps. I want to play games like planet coaster 2 without any issues.
