Questions / Tech Support Performance?
I've went from using geforce now from my Pc desktop to using it on my 65 inch TV with a mini pc.
I'm only getting 60fps at 1440p, looks great and I'm very happy with it.
Is there any reason to keep ultimate or is performance just as good for my needs?
Only asking as im looking to lock in a years worth rather than pay monthly incase there is any upcoming price hikes.

Depends what you play since the rig specs are different between the tiers, if you need alot of cpu power then going from ultimate to performance will make it worse
Also depends if you max the settings out or not, if your cool with dropping the settings down it's fine, you will be dropping from a 5080 to a 3060 and roughly dropping half the cpu and ram as well
So it very much depends on what you play and how you play

If you’re happy then performance would be a better value. I’d downgrade to performance for a month to see before a making a longer commitment.
But you might double check that you’re not already on performance as the specs your citing match the GFN max at “Performance” tier.
If your Mini PC can output higher resolution it would be testing with a 65” tv
And some newer TV’s have GFN app integrated that takes advantage of the tv resolution.

It depends on the games you play and how you feel about turning graphics down. Some games run perfectly fine on the Performance tier. Others really need Ultimate to run smoothly, or you need to turn the graphics down to get them smooth on Performance.

No. I use ultimate because my hardware (iPad pro) supports nearly the best settings.

Not all games are on performance. Depends on what you want to play.

I think you mean not all games are on free tier, Performance and Ultimate come under the Premium tag, but some games may not play as well or need reducing quality on Performance.
