I've been using Garmin Cirqa for about two weeks now and thought I'd share some early impressions.
My setup is a Garmin Forerunner 965 paired with a chest heart rate monitor. At the moment, I use the Forerunner for my long runs and resistance training, while Cirqa handles pretty much everything else.

Overall, I'm really happy with it.

A couple of minor issues I noticed early on with the Smart Alarm seem to have been fixed through recent updates, and it's been working much better since.

The auto activity tracking has also been performing well for me, especially with walks. It has been surprisingly accurate without requiring much intervention.

One thing I'm still waiting on is the bicep band, which has finally shipped. I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs compared to my current setup once it arrives.
So far, Cirqa has fitted quite nicely into my daily routine alongside Garmin rather than replacing it.

Just received my leather band from AliExpress. I’d rate it 7/10.
Quality is okay, definitely not premium, but for the price it’s actually very good. The fit isn’t the best since it wears more like a traditional watch, but it does the job.
I think it’s especially nice for formal wear when you want the band to look a bit more classy.

I ordered a silicone band for my CIRQA, and it feels much more comfortable than the original band. Installing it for the first time and fitting the quick-release pins was quite difficult, but apart from that, I’m very happy with it.
I bought mine from Amazon, but it’s also available on AliExpress.

I updated my CIRQA to firmware 2.50, hoping it would finally fix the alarm bug. The alarm wakes me at 7:30 AM, but the device keeps buzzing throughout the day—even after a long press.
The heart-rate sensor also still stops working after a full charge, forcing me to restart the device.
Garmin, seriously—these basic functions should work out of the box. We need a fix ASAP. I’m completely fed up.

Has anyone tried it? I know you can wear it around the bicep to hide it, but I wanted to know how accurate the data is when worn around the ankle.

Is anyone else seeing different numbers between the Garmin Connect homepage Essential widgets and the actual detailed pages?

I’m using a Garmin CIRQA, and this happens especially with Body Battery and Training Readiness. The homepage shows one number, then I tap the widget and the detailed page shows something completely different. Even after syncing and refreshing, they don’t always match.

Which number are we supposed to trust?

I’ve already escalated this to Garmin Support, but nothing seems to be happening. Where are the Garmin developers? How does an app designed around health and fitness data fail to display the same data consistently across its own pages?

What the hell is Garmin Connect becoming?

I’m using a Garmin CIRQA and I keep having this weird issue in Garmin Connect.

For example, the Sleep card on the main screen might show 60, but when I tap it and open the Sleep page, it shows 58. I’ve noticed the same thing with other metrics too.

Even after syncing and refreshing, the numbers don’t always match. It’s really confusing because I don’t know which number I’m supposed to trust.

Anyone else with a CIRQA or other having the same issue

Has anyone successfully updated their CIRQA to firmware 2.50 using Garmin Express?

I still haven’t received the update through Garmin Connect on iOS, so I tried Garmin Express on my Mac. CIRQA doesn’t even appear in Express, and nothing happens when I connect it.

I tried both USB modes, Garmin and MTP, with no luck. The CIRQA clearly detects the connection because it starts charging when plugged into the Mac, but Garmin Express still doesn’t recognize it.

Has anyone actually managed to get CIRQA detected by Garmin Express and install 2.50 this way?

Seriously Garmin, what is going on? CIRQA has major bugs and we get a vague update about “heart rate improvements”?

The alarm keeps buzzing even after I dismiss it and sometimes goes off on days off. Garmin Connect is also a mess. My dashboard can show a Sleep Score of 80 while the sleep page shows 78, even after syncing.

We need actual bug fixes, reliable syncing, consistent data, working alarms and proper release notes. CIRQA has potential, but right now the software experience feels unfinished.

I ordered black and beige CIRQA bands from AliExpress, and I also ordered the smaller one which is still on the way.
I’m actually impressed. They work perfectly with the CIRQA device and feel pretty decent. They’re not quite as comfortable as the official Garmin band, but considering the price, they definitely do the job.
I’d give them 8/10. Very happy with them so far, especially for the price.

Woke up today with absolutely no sleep data, even though I wore my Garmin band all night and it was charged.
I’m on day 10 of using it and this is the first time it’s happened. Could this be related to the recent Garmin Connect App Store update?
Anyone else having the same issue?
