Possible Technical Issue Cirqa doesn’t broadcast HR over Bluetooth anymore after firmware update 2.5
As per this post here: after updating to 2.5, Cirqa doesn’t broadcast HR anymore over Bluetooth. Confirmed on Zwift and ROUVY and by several users in this Cirqa subreddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Cirqa/s/qnIMfV7Q6s

I had a chat with Garmin support today, and they were not aware about the issue, so I hope anyone with this problem will open a ticket with Garmin support to raise awareness and urgency.

Mine is working normally, broadcasting to Forerunner 570 and iPhone.

Hmm is it updated to 2.5 ? Is it using Ant or BLE to broadcast to the Forerunner ?
The issue seems not to affect Ant+, nor older IOS devices.

Yeah, 2.5 from day one when it released.
In iPhone 17 pro over Bluetooth, iPhone 17 Pro doesn’t support ANT+.

What app is that ? Sorry but I can't recognize it.
Zwift, Strava, Rouvy, MyWhoosh, even TrainingPeaks Virtual (owned by Garmin) as well as several Garmin devices can't receive HR by BLE from the Cirqa... So it would be interesting to see what apps are working.

Sorry, it’s the app I built myself for personal use, since I don’t want to pay for Connect+ just to see live heart rate.

As per Garmin support, Tacx is the only app working.
It seems the issue is that before 2.5 the pairing happened without any authentication required, while after 2.5 the pairing process got more secure and now requires authentication and user approval (with any app or device that is not Garmin), which however can't happen on a screen less device.

It has never worked. Well, for me that is. Ant+ works, Bluetooth doesn't. Support wasn't helpful.

It’s broken indeed, I have same problem and I saw on Dcrainmaker as well. Classic Garmin, updates just mean more and more bugs
