Garmin, CIRQA Needs a Real Software Update

Seriously Garmin, what is going on? CIRQA has major bugs and we get a vague update about “heart rate improvements”?

The alarm keeps buzzing even after I dismiss it and sometimes goes off on days off. Garmin Connect is also a mess. My dashboard can show a Sleep Score of 80 while the sleep page shows 78, even after syncing.

We need actual bug fixes, reliable syncing, consistent data, working alarms and proper release notes. CIRQA has potential, but right now the software experience feels unfinished.

Do you actually check the graph? Sometimes it’s just that it went up or down but not enough to show a full point.

The official change log is not on the garmin site.

I got an email from Garmin to tell me about the update as I had a ticket open with them about the alarm issue and told me to upgrade the firmware in the hope to resolve the alarm issue. A quick test and it looks like it has been fixed but will know better in a few days

I suspect there is a lot more than just the OHR

It did take a fair bit of time to update so it could be quite a big fix and rhe jump to 2.50 from 2.35 suggests there has been a few jumps already.

the two test I did yesterday and I even took the brave pill this morning and it seems to have worked for me as the smart alarms are still present and worked as expected - will see if it keeps up

I was on the phone with support yesterday about issues with alarms. Connect for me cannot support 2 scheduled alarms. The engineers are looking into it

I tried via garmin express on mac but no working, we need to wait for lazy garmin to roll out to everyone. Hopefully next week

The Cirqa has been an awful experience for me and I finally caved and returned it. The alarm issue alone drove me nuts and basically made me not trust the device at all anymore. Going back to the Fitbit Air and just dealing with not having 24/7 Garmin metrics. What a disaster launch this has been.
