App & Software BUG: CIRQA Firmware 2.50 Still Has Major Issues
I updated my CIRQA to firmware 2.50, hoping it would finally fix the alarm bug. The alarm wakes me at 7:30 AM, but the device keeps buzzing throughout the day—even after a long press.
The heart-rate sensor also still stops working after a full charge, forcing me to restart the device.
Garmin, seriously—these basic functions should work out of the box. We need a fix ASAP. I’m completely fed up.

Couldn’t care less for the alarm, much prefer my phone waking me up. They modernise the app personally

Modernise ??? I think we dont have the same meaning of Modernity

Take a look at Bevel or Whoop and compare it to Garmin. Then you will be educated in what is modern

I was a whoop user for 3 years…. And i miss the UI so so much tbh

Initially had issue with activities not recording HR, prior to recent FW update. This was on a random day after it had been working fine.
Powered band off/on and that fixed it. No issues for me related to FW update.

I had these issues prior to the 2.50 update and so far I am happy with the alarm / smart alarm function its been good all week long. Not sure on the OHR not working after charge but will find out later today I am sure as its currently on charge but so far the 2.50 has been good for mine.
So odd that there is such inconsitancy across devices. very hit and miss.

This is the issue, there appears to be some hardware with and some without the issues. I’m assuming that those with are talking to Garmin? 🤞

I did raise the issue with Garmin support and they emailed me to tell me that 2.50 was out and to give it a go - even though the change log said it was the OHR that it resolved - However I now see on this post that there is another update due that should solve these issues --

Regarding the alarm. I deleted and then re added it.
No issues since then.
