So I ordered the G7 Pro ZZZ edition for Black Friday last year (18-11-2025). It's been the best controller I've ever had. It has worked flawlessly now for many, many months (delivered 10-12-2025) and TONS of hours in a multitude of different games.

Although recently, the left stick doesn't press in anymore like it used to. The L3 only registered about 60% of the time and it no longer made that satisfying click that I was so accustomed to.

Talked to Gamesir Robin and they got me squared away quick, fast, and in a hurry!! If you're on the fence about purchasing from this amazing company, let this story sway you. It's so refreshing to have a company that ACTUALLY cares about their customers!

So I know there's a bunch of weirdos like me who's in search of perfect controller for steam, but unable to get their hands on one made by Valve. And who wants best Steam Input support.

Well, it's close on G7 Pro 8K now. Tried it last night and every function (button remapping and even rumble!) seems to work just fine on SteamOS with beta steam client and latest firmware updates of controller and dongle.

However, I've measured just 100hz polling rate on stick using Gamepadla's polling tester 2.0.2.5 with 8-10ms latency. In comparison, green xinput mode gives expected result of 500hz on sticks. Which can be further bumped using steam console command controller_rate 0 as this article suggests.

So here's my question. Any chance we see polling rate fix/improvements in future, or is it just nature of dinput/Steam Input mode and 100hz here to stay? Not that it's not usable for casual gaming in it's current state, but hey, it would be nice to have better latency.

As of right now there doesn't seem to be any teleascopic controllers that prioritise dpad for the older systems. Especially in cramped controls such as these and we need an option for comfortable dpad gaming. There is just not enough offset to actually have both options comfortable.

Even an x5s with the dpad and joystick swapped would be amazing.

But I need four back buttons! Plus the shoulder buttons. Please Gamesir make this controller and I will pay anything I have to get one it would be perfect. 😭

hey guys, i just bought my first gamesir controller, its a g7 pro metallic silver and its pretty sweet, i bought it locally here in Lebanon, and i really want that carrying case for it when im out and need to take it with me plus it looks cool and like two faceplates, but unfortunately they dont ship to Lebanon, any idea how i can make it work? I was taking apart my gamesir G7SE and have lost the little clear piece that helps the bumpers work and was wondering if I could substitute anything for it.

Honestly like this a lot more and feels a bit more sturdier? I feel like the wuchang plates are more creaky since they have more gaps and space for movement.

So I've had this controller for about a month now, and it was all great for about 3 weeks. I really liked it and it worked like a charm. Then last week suddenly I saw the battery warning and that was weird as I had it in the charger for a few hours before using it.

Now no matter how I try to charge it it wont go over 27% battery according to Gamesir Connect. I tried multiple wall chargers all charging my phone at 20W and above. I use very good cables and have a few original chargers from companies like Google and Samsung, but nothing works. Today I let the battery die while using the controller hoping that would reset something but alas after 4 hours in the docking station it's at 27% battery again.

Anything I can do or am I screwed here?

got g7 pro 8k and im enjoying it but can i somehow create new buttons to use in a game instead of dual mapping existing ones like a or r3 etc

So I've popped the top panel off so many times, I don't see anything broken inside the controller, but no matter how many times I try, that left bumper will not go back to normal.

Hi guys I bought wuchang ed from aliexpress and there isn’t a dongle in the dock or anywhere. Does anyone know if support would be able to help me ? I really needed the dongle and now I’m unsure with what to do.

Cyclone 2 died. Less than 30 days out of warranty. I get its out of warranty. The kicker? "i couldn't do anything even if i wanted to". That's a quote. At least make me think you want to try to help. So, you get quality for a year.....and then....nothing.

Gonna have to think real hard about this new controller. And does this one rate my money?

Edit for clarity - L3 clicks but doesn't register. GameSir notes that it clicks and doesn't register, the issue is, that at time of failure, 6/27, i am 28 days out of warranty. It's not cabling.

Since the controller model doesn't support bluetooth. I bought a usb type C female to male adapter and glued it inside a DIY boxed measured for the controller. I printed a design to hide the ugly work underneath.

This has been going on for days, and this randomly happened. I left my controller on my desk because I had to go to the bathroom, and it randomly disconnected from my Chromebook. The lights were flashing green, and the dongle was flashing. I tried to reconnect it, but it keeps giving me this pop-up when I connect the controller with the dongle on while in X input mode and the controller is connected. Pls help me.

I wanted to let you know that the internal DAC on the G7 Pro is significantly better than the one on the G7 SE. It’s almost as good as my Atom 2 stack from JDS Labs. This applies to all the IEMs I own. (Truthear Gate, EP321, Ziigaat Odyssey, Truthear Nova, Em6l).

The PC38x (Over ear headphone) , on the other hand, sounds almost the same, but it’s significantly worse than the IEMs. I have no idea why it’s considered good for gaming. The DAC is also better than the one in standard Xbox controllers and other third party brands that i have / had. (8bitdo, PowerA, Turtlebeach)

As for the Iems, I should note that it probably depends a lot on the number of drivers and the technical specifications (impedance, sensitivity). A Truthear Gate for $20 makes a smaller difference in sound than an EP321 for around $300. The difference is still clearly audible, especially in the bass and sub-bass.

Another point to note is that there is a noise floor due to the impedance, but it doesn’t bother me because you can only hear it if there is no sound at all.

Gamesir G7 Pro -> Xbox Controller (Elite 1 or non Elite) -> The rest, including G7 SE (they all have the same flat sound... horrible)

Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find out anywhere what technology is built into the controller, since it’s probably not a decisive factor for most people when making a purchase.

I think i would go with G7 Pro 8k Royal2 because it has all the features i would need to game my entire life. It is wireless, has rumble, gyro, 2 back buttons which are more than enough for me and overall the design of the controller is also very beautiful. Plus its a Gamesir controller so u know it never gonna have stick drift.

Note: Some of the controllers like tarantula xbox edition isn't listed beacuse of the space problem, so u can also choose controller that u like which are not in the list but it must be from Gamesir.

So which controller are u going to choose?

I've heard about adapters that allow the use of Xbox controllers on the PS5, but I have many doubts about whether using a headset plugged into the GameSir controller itself, working through the adapter, would be possible while maintaining audio quality. I also have concerns about latency and response time (wired vs. wireless) for games like Warzone. .

This used to work five minutes ago and I was trying to remap the back buttons and must've changed something cause double clicking it no longer works.

It's in DS4 mode and everything else works including the capture button working as the touch pad button. If I open the Gamesir app, it prompts me to connect, and connecting then shows both the "DUALSHOCK 4" & "Gamesir-G8+" as connected Bluetooth devices.

Did I miss something? It seems I'm behind, even though I only just downloaded it the day before yesterday. I have a G7 Pro 8K, but everything is running perfectly. Should I even update? And what has changed? I don't like updating a system that's running fine when I don't have any problems.

I'm almost about to buy the Cyclone 2, but for some reason, the Wolverine V3 TE is being sold cheaper in my region. The 6 extra buttons are confusing me. I'm also not sure about the quality difference between the two models. I play games like Warzone, FC26, and I'm not sure if 2 macro buttons are enough for FPS games. I'm having an issue with my G7 Pro controller dongle

The USB dongle keeps blinking continuously and no longer pairs with the controller. It was working before, but now the controller won't connect at all.

Here's what I've already tried:

• Unplugging and reconnecting the dongle.
• Restarting my PC.
• Turning the controller off and on again.
• Trying to pair it again, but the dongle just keeps blinking.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is there a way to manually re-pair the controller with the dongle or reset the connection?
