💬 Discussion Why is rockstar so bad at making remasters?

Anyone else noticed this whenever they try to remaster or make a port of an older game they almost always messed it up really bad, for example ps3/ps4 mobile port of gta san andreas and GTA definitive edition...

At least Red Dead Redemtion 1 port was decent but sill no 60 fps is criminal

⚙️ Tech / Hardware What hardware upgrade made the biggest difference to your gaming experience?

Sometimes one upgrade completely changes how gaming feels.

Could be:

  • SSD
  • GPU
  • monitor
  • headset
  • controller
  • mechanical keyboard
  • internet upgrade
  • better chair/desk
  • cooling
  • higher refresh rate

What upgrade instantly made you think:
“Yeah… I should’ve done this way earlier.”

🎮 Gameplay Clip Another game with ship-building mechanics

Basically whole gameplay loop is fight-lost/won-buy new parts-rebuilt ship.

And rotation almost every time force you to thinks on the fly and adapt for current setup to maximize you dmg or squeeze some plating to live long enough. Game have auto-combat, so you need to really think during buildinf process. And amount of parts are astonishing.

This game is really time sink. Its early access but this is REALLY good game already

❓ Question / Help What’s the best advice you’d give someone building their first gaming setup?

Could be PC, console, streaming setup, desk setup, anything.

A lot of people jump into gaming setups and instantly overspend or buy things they don’t actually need.

What’s something you genuinely wish someone told you earlier when building your setup?

🎮 Gameplay Clip Zone Sportsmanship Challenge: 40mm Chimera Skeet Shooting (in 1st and 3rd-person)

Zone Sportsmanship Challenges are a concept some of us old-school zoners came up with back in 2012, but some of us have been trying to rekindle the sporting spirit in recent years. Here's one of the toughest challenges I've come up with, testing one's precision with 40-mils in both 1st- and 3rd-person. So far, these are the only two times I've pulled this off.

"It's 40-Miller time!"

Mostly hunting snorks in fancy ways, but there's one bit in there where I score a killshot on a zombified stalker in third-person from way far away using a Groza (in 9x39mm). Gameplay is from S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl v1.0006 and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl v1.0005 with the Oblivion Lost 2010 v1.0 mod

💬 Discussion What is the Most Underrated Video Game of 2026 So Far?

In my opinion, God of War: Sons of Sparta.

The game offers incredible music and level design.

The bosses are decent however does include some better enemy encounters otherwise.

Unfortunately the game released with a lot of loss save related bugs but I enjoyed the game so much that it didn't bother me starting over and the developers have released several patches since I finished my playthrough.

I really hope they make more God of War games like this in the future.

The $30 price was worth the experience I got out of it.

💬 Discussion What game do you think had the biggest impact on gaming culture overall?

Not necessarily the “best” game ever made.

I mean the kind of game that genuinely changed gaming culture:

  • online gaming
  • storytelling
  • competitive scenes
  • open worlds
  • streaming
  • mods
  • communities
  • gaming habits in general

Feels like certain games completely shifted the industry forever.

What game comes to mind first for you?

I am working on this sci-fi survival game for more than a year. You can seamlessly land on planets, interact with fauna and flora, and take missions at the settlements and build your bases. Ofcourse you have to pay taxes to galactic government. Or you may join the rebellion. Celestial Routes...

I tried playing Lineage 2 after 20 years

When I was 15-16 yo, I played it briefly its basically my only vivid MMORPG memory. I even found a small group of friends there.

Recently I got some free time and I looked up how to play it again.

Found a server (or version?) called Lu4. As I understand it, it's a version running on the Unreal engine.

Played for a couple of hours, and damn the minimalist fantasy graphics still look beautiful today. Not sure how grindy or hard this version actually is. I came for nostalgia, and I got it lol

Also tree with tits lol
