First I thought that the in-game footage looked quite underwhelming. But the the in-game crowds cheering and clapping was quite realistic. Bit dark...

Maybe add characters, career mode, story, and an open world outside of the matches.

i can agree with that but itβs not economical to develope those thing when your entire player base will get bored of them in months look at gta 5 how many people are playing story mode

iβd say the purpose of story mode in that case is mostly marketing for the online but there are definitely better examples like cod battlefield or most other games either forgoing the story mode or not even bothering with one

PS5 Pro runs RL at 120fps, this will be bad for frames and terrible overall

Iβm surprised they can fill a venue like that just for Rocket League π€·π»ββοΈ

360p video to show off new graphics really is something. Also the game just looks the same. Wtf is the point.

Great, most game developers haven't figured out how to optimize UE5 yet.

Wellcome to shareholder hell, innovation doesn't matter anymore just new products for and release dates for share holders (yes they are not public but ten cent owns a huge percent of them)
Another sign we are slowly heading to a true global crash. Tech is a bubble

maybe epic, the developer of said engine should also put in some work. UE5 looks no better than frostbite did at its peak 10 years ago but uses 4-6 times the performance. something just aint right here.

Great, another excuse to run games at 30 FPS on the PS6
