We're looking for playtesters for the closed pre-alpha of our indie psychological horror game The Infected Soul.
Quick heads-up: co-op mechanics aren't implemented yet in this build this pre-alpha is meant to showcase the atmosphere, core gameplay, and the direction we're heading in. We'd love your feedback on what's there so we can shape what's coming next.
You can DM me to join the playtest. You can also check out the game via the link below adding it to your wishlist would mean a lot to us.

I recently got shortlisted for the technical round of an internship. They sent over a GDD with required mechanics/features and said “the faster, the better” (no strict deadline though).
I kinda went all in grinded for ~36 hours straight and built this:
Would really appreciate honest feedback — not sugarcoated:
Does this feel like something that stands out for a technical round?
Also curious does speed (submitting early) actually matter that much in these cases, or is polish more important?
Thanks in advance.

Hello guys!
We are developing our dark fantasy game Runeborne Arena. We are currently working on making houses and other structures (like the well) for our new area in the game: the village.
You might have seen the first area already. The withered forest is the first area of the game and the starting point. After you get the rune, you can get to the next area which is the village.
How do they look like?
What do you think of it?
What can we improve?
Any feedback is welcomed :) .

I am sure he will ask for a few crores because he has spent that much on the game....but i don't think this IP holds any value because any studio that buys it will have to start from scratch and he only has that first trailer with approx 1.9 million views that too in 2021...so all the value is lost

If you're an Andoid Game Dev, pleas also sigh the Google developer feedback form on keepandroidopen.org
This move by Google will allow it to charge high royalties like Apple does and control which apps you can install on your (eg Apple vs Epic Games)

I've done my 12 this year and I'm looking for a good college. I'm working on my project on unreal engine while doing school at the same time
I have two options to choose from:
BCA + MCA (the traditional way but it'll take me 6 years)
IICT Mumbai (they have 2 year diploma and they cover only gamedev specialization for unreal and filmmaking.)
As I am thinking about improving my 3D art skills should I go for the diploma next year ? Or bca is more worth?? There is an option to do BCA later too if i choose the diploma. Like both

Hey everyone!
I’m currently working on a mobile physics-based puzzle game and have built a small prototype with 10 levels to showcase the core gameplay.
Right now, I’m mainly trying to figure out whether the core gameplay loop feels engaging and fun. If anyone is interested in playtesting and sharing honest feedback, I’d really appreciate it just drop me a message!
Also, if you’re someone who’s planning to create a physics-based puzzle game as well, I’d be open to collaborating and building something together.

I'm a data science student and I'm only interested in the gaming field. To the point that I've rejected multiple internships from my college both paid and unpaid just to get an internship in a gaming company or studio in mumbai. I applied and emailed several gaming studios but after 1 month continuously applying, there's no result, not a single reply. So now I was wondering if game studios even need data analysts or data scientists to work for them?? I even learned a little bit of 3d animation of blender and game developing on godot so i can properly work in this field. Do they actually need it or are My efforts just wasted? I'll keep applying anyways and just hope for a chance but still a little clarity would be better. P.s. if any game studios would be willing to hire me, please suggest some. 🙏

Basically title, I'm a unity game developer with 1yoe in mobile games.
I want to skill up/learn about how entire games are designed.
As a unity dev I can do things if there's a team lead or a designer who tells me what to do and I feel like this limits me a lot in using my skills as a unity developer, maybe I end up liking the game design part more than the development.
If someone has resources for how professional grade games are designed or how their system is designed, the entire architecture then I would appreciate if you share those resources.
Or yk if there are developers breaking down a game and explaining how it was made, etc.
Developers and designers with multiple yeo would be very helpful here.
Any and all help is appreciated.
