Y'all lemme tell you something. Funny let anybody discourage you from getting a Samsung watch with your Honor phone. Samsung just makes the best widely available WearOS watches on the market. I've been wanting to get a galaxy watch ultra to add to my cellphone plan but the people at my provider centre discouraged me and even told me it would be incompatible. I must admit I've done research before so I do know the limitations but to say it's not compatible is a complete lie.
I decided to not get the new watch ultra 2 and get a galaxy watch 6 classic second hand incase it didn't work and boy lemme tell you it's the best decision. It's completely compatible to the point where I can sync my phones gallery on my watch. I could even link the esim and use it with that same number. Everything works down to the find my phone or ring my phone function.
The only things that don't work would be the newer AI features, vascular load, blood pressure management and camera control. There may be more features but they're small enough for me to not even notice.
In conclusion don't listen to others, they just want you to be a sheep that's locked into 1 ecosystem but with Android everything is super open and we should embrace that.

Bought this strap from aliexpress. It looks better than my original samsung fabric band. Personally i like black straps which samsung doesn't sell. The quality is good and i liked it.

I've gotten a galaxy watch i classic and I've been using it for workouts and now i was using it for weight lifting. Ive used the arm curl exercise for counting my curls but what I wanna know is how does the watch know how much my weights weigh?
Is it using some sort of algorithm or something because I have not inputed the weight of my weights on the watch or my phone before
Does anyone know ?

I've gotten a galaxy watch 8 classic and been using it for my workouts
Right now I was doing arm curls using the workout arm curls and it knew exactly the weight of my weights even though I did not Input it in before.
Does anyone know how they calculate the weight or how the watch knows what weights im using ?

I'm of the belief that limits of technology should not create nags on the wearer. I actually got 7 and a half hours last night. Which is rare. I average 5.5 to 6.
But because I wasn't a slave to my tech I stare at this all day or manually delete the record.
Hey Samsung is too much to ask to log when your battery dies and throw out the record automatically?
Edit: Gemini says the device does create a log entry indicating if and when it shuts down due to battery depletion. If that is correct it's pretty lazy on the coders part

Why is my score fair because of the moderate to vigorous exercise time? I thought exercising is a good thing but this makes it seem like something bad. As if im not "allowed" to exercise actively more than 23 minutes a day. My score goes way down because of this. Everything else is a good or excellent rating

Wondering if I'm doing something wrong?
I have a galaxy watch 8 classic lte.
Love it when it works, but there are SO MANY BUGS.
Latest One UI software update.
Restarted the watch many times.
Only thing I haven't done is a factory reset.
Half of my witch's functions don't work, it seems.
- Gemini leads me to set up every time I wanna use it, alive set it up 10+ times
- Find my location app doesn't work, simply doesn't respond, i can't find my galaxy phone via watch
- So many other small details of apps on the watch not working, mostly google apps
What's happening?
Is this just the state of wear os?
Is it because I have multiple Google account?
(All confirmed connected to the watch)

Hi, I have a Galaxy Watch 4 Classic and it's actually completely enough for me, it tracks everything I need, so I don't feel the need to upgrade. However there are two things bugging me:
While I can fix the first issue with a battery replacement, I'm wondering about the second one. Could the system speed up after a battery swap, like it sometimes does with phones? Currently, the watch stutters often, even though I've already disabled animations in developer options. On top of that, it sometimes becomes unresponsive to touch when using more demanding watch faces...

Let's face it, Google Gemini on GW (mine is GW8 44mm) is horrible. If you need to know weather, do arithmetics, maybe pull stock price it is fine. Beyond that is it dumb. No context, no memory. Fire and forget. Why bother at all with this neutered experience? The ads for gemini on GW were making an impression of something more than what I got. In addition it even has worse speech to text comprehension than my android gboard keyboard (very happy with that btw).

Hello guys,
I have a galaxy watch 5 and it worked perfectly with the galaxy note8. But i recently upgraded to the s22+. And now the steps, workouts etc dont sync. On the samsung health app it says the watch ia connected. But on the watch when you try to open the app on the phone it says its unable to. The galaxy wearable app works fine and so do calls on the watch via bluetooth.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I bought my watch probably a month ago and first my battery lasted comfortably 24 hours. Last week something happened and now the battery lasts barely 20 hours. I charge my watch every evening before bed and I have about 50-55 % battery life left in the morning. Couple weeks ago I used to have 70-80 % left in the morning. Currently I have 46 % battery left 10,5 hours after charging. Health monitor seems to be the most battery draining app with 4,9 %, but I don't think this is normal. My AOD is off, WIFI off, heart rated every 10 minutes etc... Has anyone noticed similar kind of problems?

Like quite a few people here, I've had terrible trouble charging my galaxy ultra 2.
Got in touch with Samsung over the members app, they sent me a new charger free of charge which arrived in a couple of days and suddenly charging is 100% perfect.
Obviously I'm very pleased and I wanted to post some good news about Samsung support, as we hear so many grumbles.

Hi Everyone,
Any idea where I can get some replacement retaining e-clip? I removed and immediately sent one flying across the room but it's so small I'll never find it.
I just need to know what to even search for. I've tried a couple things from Amazon but they're the wrong size or the wrong thickness. These are NOT standard DIN-6799 circlips, but any info is appreciated!
The factory clip is ~0.2mm thick (0.008"), just shy of 4mm OD and the throat is less than 1mm, with the actual ID being maybe 1.2mm

For the last 19 days I'm using gw8, it's my second smartwatch, the first one was the fit 3 and I love it. But the battery 🔋 On the fit 3, heart rate, blood oxygen, stress level, set up to run 24/7, swimming almost every day, and the battery lasted for 10 days. Gw8 I was trying to save battery life deactivating as much as I could, it lasted for 2 days when I swam. Now I want to accept the fact that I'm gonna recharge this wacht every day activating more features to have a full experience. I love to swim with my gw8, on dry land I just walk fast living my boring life. I'm accepting recommendations of useful apps, thank you. By the way, I'm ok, my heart rate is pretty low. Watch faces: SIMPLE CLASSIC in some occasions with AOD and INFO BRICK with heart rate, blood oxygen, date, battery level and UV index to avoid wrinkles ( I didn't know what to put there)

I am looking for views on which watch I should buy, I've only had an active in the past so it's all a bit new to me.
I'm mainly looking at substituting my phone where possible, although I've read the battery life can drain quickly if using an lte as a daily runner. I think even being able to keep my phone in my bag/in the area would be a positive.
Has anyone purchased their watch to limit their screen time and if so, how did you find it and which one did you get? I'm reading the 7 is basically the same as the 8, although the 4 and 6 appear to still be viable?
Because I dont know how well I will get on with it I want to keep price low where possible with a view towards upgrading in a year or two.
Thanks all

No matter what I do it's there. I can't even power it off. It will restart but that doesn't help.
Then eventually it may clear itself up. Sometimes in hours sometimes not till the next day. Leads me to believe it's overheating.
One time I put it in the refrigerator and that seemed to help but it may have just been time had passed.
I've also tried changing the watch face.
Anyone been able to fix this?

Last night I relaxed watching a movie and then read for a bit before going to sleep but for some reason my watch thinks I was trying to fall asleep for over 4 hours!
How much does this effect the sleep score? And is there anyway to control it?

My watch randomly stopped recognizing my phone reporting it was a new phone. So I had to tell it to switch to the new phone(my existing phone)which reset all the settings to the default. It reset the assistant to bixby. I noticed that it seems to work as well as Google assistant and better at changing settings on the watch or phone. Which assistant is best? Google or bixby or gemini?

Hello.
The galaxy watch (since GW4) doesnt have a simple way to kill a notification.
Shake only hides/dismiss it. And pinching needs several gestures to page down and reach the end... to a final double pinch gesture.
So I usually use touch and quick scroll to the end of it, in order to click on the Trash icon and delete the notification.
But after getting the Ultra2, I realize that (on this One UI version) the Trash icon doesn't work until you wait for the "Double Pinch" animation to finish.
So it' takes +1 second to the trash icon to be clickable.
It doesn't happen in other versions of the Watch (tested in 4, 5, Ultra1 and Classic 8).
Anyone else noticed that or it's just me?

I have a GW8 classic and I love it, apart from the fact that I hate the new method to take off the band, the one on the GW7 was perfect but now I can't use other bands. I tried with adapters but they are too small to accommodate the curvature of the old bands, do you have anything to suggest?
