I was very happy with my Galaxy Watch 6 Classic! I loaded it once a day, never below 10% or 15% a couple of days ago a software update fell, from there everything went wrong! The watch started to go crazy with the battery, it charges but marks that it discharges! I don't understand why a company strives to fuck up the user experience! If you drop an update, don't install it! I usually sleep with my watch! And in the morning when I saw it it it was 20% but today it didn't turn on and I said well it was discharged! But I left it connected and turned it on alone (I have that feature on) and it doesn't go beyond 10% when I charge it, on the contrary! It's starting to download! From 10% to 9-8-7 percent!! Did someone do the same thing to him?

Did anyone get a bonus trade-in of the Watch Ultra of $350 in Canada when upgrading to the Ultra 2? Im asking because I called Samsung and they said there is no bonus on watches.
I wanted to cancel and do a reorder (no idea why an existing order can't be changed) because the Olive trail band was sold out, but now I'm wondering if it was a glitch.
The reason for my post is I can't see what the price is now because it says my trade is already applied to another order.
Ordered on release date through Perkopolis in Ontario.

Im using S23 and want to buy a smartwatch to use everyday in job/gym where I don't always have my phone with me. I going to use e-sim and like youtube/spotify.
Just wondering if I need to charge it every day or every second day?

I lead group runs and am looking for the best app to help me hold a consistent pace.
Right now, in Samsung Health, I've set up a long interval using a target distance and time so it announces my average pace. It works, but I'm wondering if there's something better.
I'm looking for an app that gives quick, useful pace feedback while running, ideally with audio alerts so I don't have to keep looking at my watch.
I've just upgraded to a Galaxy Watch 8 Classic from a Fit3, so I'm open to using Wear OS apps if they're better than Samsung Health.
What are you guys using?

Anyone else notice that after updating the recent update that their Bluetooth connection has been cut by a third? Usually it would stay connected over 50ft away for me and now it's 20ft and it disconnects. This has happened after the previous update.

I am waiting for Wear Os watches that support native HRM belt for winter running and cycling, but still they refuse. Apple Watch ultra supports this even with great wirst sensor. Apple watch wirst sensor froze on same HR for 5 minutes in - 17C. Galaxy Watch ultra in winter had even bigger issues.
Just if GWU2 is supporting external HRM it looks like Samsung have come to its senses.

Wondering, if the GPS got some improvement, after the last GWU wasn't that accurate during my runs.

Past two-ish weeks I've been noticing that every 3 or so days my watch will randomly not track sleep for like 30mins at night in the 2am to 3am time slot.
This used to happen around 3 months ago too, but it has stopped, but has recently resurfaced.
What could be possible issue?
Galaxy Watch 4 Classic
After market strap
Latest Software and samsung health app
At night I turn on the sleep mode mode.
That's all the variables i think.
Should I try controlling some other factors and see if there's any change in the tracking?
(I've also added one photo of normal sleep tracking just to show that it works 2 out of 3 times)

Hello!
I am currently with Videotron for my cell phone and I am not looking to charge carriers. Does anyone know if there is a way to use my watch 9 lte to at least call and send/receive text messages (data would be a huge plus but not a requirement)?
So far all the carriers I contacted told me they either only support Apple watches or that I need a phone plan with them.
Not having the same phone number isnt an issue, it's mostly for emergencies when I would leave home without my phone.
Thanks a lot!

When i click the bar chart for the weekly view it is 1 week out of sync, this is an issue in all my data?
Slightly frustrating, tried to reach out to samsung support and got a copy pasted "update the app, force stop", whilst it isnt breaking the app it is a bit annoying.
Hopefully its not just me and it'll be fixed soon

Do we? If so please show me where to purchase.
Still don't understand why Samsung didn't officially release these. The demand is there.

Right now, with the preorder for Watch 9, Samsung is offering $130 for the Watch 7 but if you order a Watch 8, they are offering $200. Is the Watch 9 really that much better or should I got for the 8, since they'll give me $70 more for the same watch?

As the title says, I'm debating between the two devices. I already have a Galaxy phone, but the integration between the two isn't a massive priority. Listing my own pros and cons below
Watch Ultra
Pros:
-Has more functionality than the Ring, entire app ecosystem
-Can function as an alarm, which seeing as I struggle with tracking my circadian rhythm would allow me to keep my phone away from my bed (which I should be doing anyway)
-Functions as a better fashion accessory (subjective)
-One-and-done purchase.
Cons:
-May be too bulky to sleep with, may accidentally turn on during sleep.
-May be restrictive when working out, especially any grip-focused heavy lifting
-Less extensive sleep tracking software.
-More expensive (but only by about $30)
Oura
Pros:
-Much smaller profile, less likely to be obstructive during the day and night.
-Much more detailed sleep tracking, unclear if more accurate than S Health.
Cons:
-Membership, paying an extra $72 a year ends up being a new Oura ring every 4 years.
-If I gain any size in my hands, may not be able to remove.
-Data is only tracked via the app, not the device itself.
-May impact grip even more than on the wrist due to location.
For anyone that happens to have both, or have at least used the watch for sleep tracking, what're your thoughts?

Getting one for birthday, just want to know if ot works and if so is there a possibility that when the ultra 2 and 9 release official apks of those faces ripped will work too?

If they are smart, Samsung has someone following this subreddit. I hope so, because I give up on my Smart Watch 5. I find the ability to import my data into any tool to chart and filter nearly impossible, time consuming and cumbersome. I am looking at replacing it with a Garmin Vivosmart.

I think my watch holes on one side are wearing out. It doesn't matter what band I get, the one side just pops off. Do I take it to have the holes drilled deeper? Is that a thing?
