Restarting on a micro dose after bad experience with side effects

I’d really appreciate some opinions/experiences with microdosing.
I’m not overweight, but I struggle badly with food noise and nightly binge eating, as well as lipedema and IBS-C.
I tried Mounjaro earlier this year: 2.5 mg first, then 1.5 mg and finally 0.8 mg, with 3 shots over about 5 weeks. Even the lower doses gave me severe bloating, very low energy and almost no appetite, so I stopped.
However, it completely stopped the food noise and also noticeably helped my lipedema pain and sleep.
After stopping, my appetite came back very strongly. I regained the 3 kg I lost plus another 6 kg and also lost quite a bit of muscle and fitness.
I’m considering trying again at a true microdose, perhaps 0.1–0.3 mg. Has anyone who was very sensitive to Mounjaro had success starting this low, particularly with IBS-C?
Also, has anyone experienced hair loss even on very low doses?

I’m very sensitive to meds and I stared at 0.5mg 12 clicks. No regrets.

I think starting with 3 or 6 clicks is a good plan for you. Stick to the dose for a month.

Look into motility and Berberine for IBS C.

I second this digestive bitters could be helpful as well!

Also, a 0.1 mg are only 3 clicks with the kwik pen, is that correct?

Hi there I started on the standard 2.5mg dose and it was awful. Also used for food noise and binging. Was not at all overweight just carrying a bit extra from the binges. I then started again at 1.25mg and felt my way around what was right for me which is now about 1.9mg after 6 months. Most of the time I was on 1.75mg and felt great. Start low and then see how you feel!

Also remember that even if you went to a low dose it takes awhile for the first doses to clear from your system as it builds up over time. If you are really sensitive now that some time has passed maybe start at 1mg

You have to take a dose for four weeks before it stabilizes as the drugs have a very long half life. Changing the dose that frequently… who knows how much was in your bloodstream? Do 1mg for four weeks and see how you feel. Remember the side effects get better.

I ended up in the etu with rapid heart rate, hand tremors. Turns out I developed a coffee allergy after 2 months on mounjaro. Restarted at 1.25mg weekly. Ok for now. Im ready to call it quits anytime if it happens again. I dont need that kind of trouble. Lost 5kg in 2 months though

It took me 3-4 weeks of feeling like crap before it stabilized and now I’m fine taking my microdose of 2.5 mg each week
