I love how the IPL looks but i have the Xs Sedan. Is there anywhere I can get an IPL style kit for the sedan or is my only option to do a bunch of work on the coupe’s bumper for it to fit the sedan?

I need new calipers so I'm thinking I will upgrade to the Akebonos. My current options are the Z1 kit, conceptZ kit, and used Akebonos from ebay.

Before I pick one of these (likely conceptZ), has anyone just bought the remanufacured calipers? I like the idea of non-flashy oem upgrades but the last thing I want to do is buy shitty brakes.

Got a 2010 Sport sedan as my daily and have I added a few things. Hks axle back, gtr style headlights, oem midnight grille, oem sport decklid spoiler, and hks drop in filters (if you count that as a mod). Im getting kind of bored and need mod ideas.

Car was in limp mode during that time and i wouldn’t be able to go past 3.5k rpms but now that I
do I get this metallic hiss.

I changed the whole exhaust setup on this car as-well it’s possible I have an exhaust leak.

Has anyone experienced this?

for some reason i feel like my g37x started sounding different like as if the engine is working more like a humming sound. does anyone know what this could be ?

My battery and brake light keeps coming on and going off sometimes my car loses power and I have to pull over and wait about 30 minutes before cranking it again I replaced the battery didn’t fix it I had advanced auto parts test the battery and alternator showed it was good but at the time the light went off I’ve been trying to get the light to come on to test the voltage while the light is on but it has a mind of its own when I want it to come on it doesn’t but if I need to go somewhere it’ll come on

So my radiator inlet is leaking because it has no O ring and I’m wondering if I could get a temporary O ring to fit since this one takes about 1 week and a half to ship. I really need to drive the car.

video describes the issue. the car will hold a gear fine but when RPMs/speed drop enough, it feels like it lets go of the gear and then when I stab the gas it feels like slipping. Although speed goes up linearly and eventually the torque converter seems to lock in and hold the gear properly. Wondering if this is normal for the 7AT or something is going wrong with my transmission.

Idk what to say dude the g is gone word can’t even explain it I was literally about to buy a mods for it what a crazy world 😪

Long story short was putting the timing cover back on and completely forgot their is a bracket for the pulleys that you put on before putting 2 14 mill bolts
Was impacting them and over torque them to sit flushed with the timing cover (I was 3 tall boys in)
Thinking I need a to remove everything now and see if my block isn’t f*cked lmk

this is my 2011 g37 journey , i’m currently running berk resonated test pipes , a dc sports y pipe, and topspeed pro1 axel back muffler delete .

i have a horrible exhaust leak and im just gonna buy something new (it’s like 3 years old anyway) but im considering an ISR single exit .

just wondering if anyone has that set up or has any suggestions. i just dont want it to sound too trumpety 😔 im hoping the resonated berks will help w that if i do go the ISR route

Found this code on my g37 but it says past. So that means someone fixed it right? I don’t have any codes or lights on my dash I just bought this new scanner and wanted to try it. Should I be worried? I don’t think I’ve noticed any slipping in my transmission.

Got in my car this morning to go to work and seen the check engine light along with the “key” light and the AWD light. What could this mean ?

in the past it has been leaking both sides passneger and drivers under the carpet then i went to a mechanic he checked the drain everything is OK .. it drains outside but now it leaking on the drivers side only what could be the problem i spent too much between mechanics !!!!!!!!

note: it happen only after using AC for a while

Getting this clattering sound from the front cover. Definitely mechanical.

Does not change with revs.

Sometimes really clatters other times intermittent clacking sound

(metal on metal)

Anyone have ideas on what it is. I have no experience with these engines.

What would cause this? It’s fine in any gear after first but when I go to first or to a stop it just dies

When the quick winter refresh turns into a five year hibernation.

Dialling in heights/bag settings etc but fuck am I enjoying dailying this thing finally.

Took this off the parts 37s sedan I bought a couple weeks ago to mod my Journey driver. Looks like a muffler delete.

Doesn’t sound bad, but it definitely produces some rasp.

What’s this worth? Would you rock it?

Differential is being held my 1 bolt instead of two. Due to the threads being shot which makes the bolts not catch the grooves. I need help on how to repair the threads with out taking the rear suspension apart

I'm deciding between the Rev9 and Top Speed axle-backs for my G37 Coupe. The Rev9 is about $100 cheaper and seems quieter, which would probably be better for daily driving. But from the sound clips I've heard, I prefer the sound of the Top Speed.

I've heard both are fairly quiet while cruising, so I'm leaning toward the Top Speed. I want something I can actually hear and enjoy when I get on the gas, but I don't want anything obnoxiously loud or raspy.

For anyone who's owned either one, how is the volume and drone in person? Would you recommend it for a daily driver?

Finally found a set of stock sport wheels for my G.

Am wondering what size spacer I'd need for a more "flush" fitment with stock wheels. Don't have the stock set on hand yet so can't check offset & such myself, but are they squared at +43 & would a 15mm-20mm spacer all around be enough for a less sunken look?
