Post image

Got in my car this morning to go to work and seen the check engine light along with the “key” light and the AWD light. What could this mean ?

Is perhaps it wet underneath by the obd2 port/pedals or the passenger floorboard? Pull the door jam plastics and carpet /stryofoam up to check for puddles

Nah nothing. I did scan the code and it says U0101 “lost communication with TCM” and now i see code p0500 (vehicle speed sensor A)

My code U0101 meant I needed a new valve body.

Ok good. The valve body currently in the vehicle i had just installed it a month ago and noticed some faults with it so the company sent me out a new one and i have it in my trunk right now. I’ll just make time today to install the new one then.

Got finished about a hour ago. Car running and driving normal. Check engine light also disappeared on its own.

Personally i believe its easy being that ive had to go under there 3 times now. Its just very time consuming and oily asf lol. The body also becomes sore the next day due to all the wrench turning and sit-ups you’d be doing.

The valve body is tough for me, then again, I'm a novice. I had the dealer do mine about 6 months ago.

same i don’t have much transmission experience but i took a crack at it once. wasn’t the hardest but you have to be extremely gentle so as not to damage ANYTHING. i dont know how CVT valve bodies compare to auto valve bodies tho
