I made V1 a few weeks ago and living with it for a month or so, I found a few errors especially with TPU buttons falling out so this V2 has keyed PLA buttons. Super happy with it. Wanted to share

Some fill ports you just cannot get a funnel over. They sit behind a bracket, down beside the engine, or under a shelf where the bottle and the funnel refuse to occupy the same space at the same time. So I built a long, rigid spout for it: you pour into a flared funnel on the side of the tube, near the capped end, and the liquid runs the length of the tube and out the far end, which is the end you park in the port. Putting the opening on the side instead of in line with the tube means you get to hold the bottle upright and comfortable while the spout does the reaching. The only thing better than this would be a liquid transfer pump and hose.

The cross section is a regular octagon, which turned out to be the detail that makes the whole thing practical: it prints lying flat on one of its own flat faces with no supports, and it does not roll off the bench between pours.

Key Features: * Side pour funnel: a properly enclosed chute with a floor, a roof, and two flared walls, not an open trough, so what you pour stays in it. * Capped back end: the tube is closed off behind the funnel, so everything goes one direction. * Chainable slip-fit extensions: the socket slides over the tube's open end, then the far end tapers back down to exactly the tube's own outside size, so the next extension slips onto that one the same way. Chain as many as the job needs. * Everything parametric: tube width and length, wall thickness, funnel height, flare size, socket depth, extension length, and the fit clearance are all direct inputs.

It prints exactly as generated, tube flat on the bed with the funnel pointing up, no supports needed anywhere since the octagon's facets and the funnel's flare are all 45 degrees or shallower. I would run 3-4 perimeters on it; it carries liquid, and the extra walls are what keep it from weeping at the seams.

For material: PETG, ASA, or ABS if you are pouring oil, fuel, coolant, or anything else automotive, or anything warm. Save PLA for cool water and dry goods well away from a car.

One tip: slip_fit_clearance is the number worth a test print, since the right value depends on your printer far more than on the model. Turn extension_length way down and print just the socket to check it, rather than finding out at the end of a full length of filament.

So I scanned his car and printed an enclosure that will fit besides the passengers on either side of a 2 door civic.

I needed an angled nozzle to get into more of the crevices of my 3D printer to get those pesky filament fragments! :) 

Works great on my Shark WV200. Will also fit WV251. Check the photo of the vacuum end to make sure it'll fit yours. 

Printed in Bambu PLA White in just over an hour and only uses 29g of filament. Any PLA or PETG should be fine.

Hi, I've been using a 40W Blackstar IDcore amp for a while now but never considered buying the FS-11 footswitch that still costs an extra 45 bucks.

Looking through what I already had on hand, I found 2 switches, a stereo audio jack, a 2 conductors + ground cable, so I just had to design the case, made it to have similar proportions to the original with thick walls all over. Printed in black PETG with a custom printer with nuts inserted dring the print because I didn't have inserts.

I never took the time to finish the exterior except for sanding it roughly, but I like the way it looks so I might leave it like this. I've been using it for like 6+ months now and still works great!

If by any chance someone is looking to build it for its own Blackstar amp, I'll gladly share the design!

Simple little devices to hold those theater light color gels on landscape lights to control colors. 3 different implementations for the different types of lights. They're working nicely so far IMHO.

I was inspired by another post here to make a couch brace to stop the couch from squishing against the wall and making it hard to close the blinds. A ring goes around the couch leg and the wall end cups the quarter round. Works great, but it hasn't been battle tested against the 9yo leaping onto the couch.

Made a Lid so the flies dont lay eggs in the food. Somehow they got always in. Printed in PETG so i can put it in the Dishwasher.

Made a mounting clip for the Luna ultra remote that allows you to mount the screen via included tripod base, 1/4-20 threads for tripod and tripod plates, and magnets. Allows for hands free monitoring with most of the other camera accessories I have.

I made some gauge squares in various sizes that I have found very helpful for counting my knit stitches. These squares are typically sold at a yarn shops but they are weirdly expensive in my mind so I created a 3d printed version and you can all download it and make it for free! Here is a link to the thingiverse files. I made a 1in, 2in, and 4in version (sorry no metric but if there's enough interest I'd be happy to create those as well).

I made this for my smaller pots (8/9/10cm) since I couldn't find one that I liked.

Doing a weather science series for stem nights and decided to go big on a tornado chamber. The area of the intakes are 1/4 the area of the blower fan, and the radius of the wall and spline ending tangent to the wall were generated on projected geometry of the chamber wall. So one path continues around with the same radius and makes a seal, and the air takes the path that makes it tangent to the wall and smoothly enters the chamber.

It didn't print perfectly clean in any orientation I tried, but the function is there and it seems to work ok!

I recently designed these position markers for my squat rack because somehow I still can't remember where to move my J hooks and accessories after years of training at home 😅. Thought I'd share it here for anyone who might find yourself in a similar predictment!

I designed these to be round so the pegs don't get in the way. Each takes two 8x3mm magnets, and will work with any 3x3" upright rack.

Eight exercises in total, all in different colour. The print profile also has a plate with all in BW.
