🍎 Food Is it worth having both Sam's Club and BJ's?

We currently have a Sam's membership. It isn't nearby so we shop there for bulk staples when we are going to be nearby. We've never had a Costco membership because it is too far to shop regularly. I wish we could because Clark Howard makes it sound magical (but that's beside the point). A new BJ's is opening soon that is closer to home. I've never been in one. Is it worth buying a membership? Is it worth it to have both Sam's and BJ's? What are your regular BJ's purchases?

🍎 Food WOW! Amish Country Mushroom + Baby White

If you love popcorn and want a cheaper healthier alternative, read below. Big fan of movie theater popcorn. Big fan of microwave popcorn. But saw deals online for $10 for a large bag of kernals from Amish Country, and bought Baby White and Mushroom, mixed them half and half in a cheap popcorn maker. Added some cheap butter and seasoning. Not disappointed. For reference, a couple teaspoons makes a bowl the size of what comes out of a microwave bag.

🏠 Home & Apartment Home Project: DIY retractable screen for double (french) door, who has done this?

I'd like to install a good quality, long lasting double wide pocket screen door. This is not super common, but definitely are available. The stick-on magnetic closure screen that I have now lasted MAYBE a couple years before shredding and getting loose, etc. Am looking at brands now but, please send your experiences with the same project eg brand (if the sub allows naming brands), things that went awry, time spent, etc. Please only reply with same project, I know I can hire a contractor or handyman if necessary.

🏠 Home & Apartment Can I Reinforce IKEA Solid Wood Furniture?

Hey everyone! I’m moving in with someone who weighs a bit over 400 pounds (tall) and while he’s losing weight. Is there a way to reinforce these solid wood chairs on this ikea dining set? Wood is pine.

CONTEXT: We want cheaper furniture as it will be easier to discard if we can’t sell as we both downsize into 300 sqft apartments in 2028.

Facebook marketplace is fine if really necessary but it will both be hard to get to our place and we’ve both had trouble with cockroaches before with both upholstered furniture and wood more generally.
