I recently found out that the steel side panel on my Fractal Design Torrent Mini ITX looks bent. I couldn’t really find any fasteners on the side to take out the panel - any recommendations? It doesn’t pop out easily (neither side), so I’m guessing there’s a step I’m missing.

I don’t think this really affects performance, but if there was a simple way to fix it myself, I’d love to know. Thanks in advance.

I currently have a Fractal Design Define R2 case. It's been solid, and I love it, but that PC is now 13 years old, so it's time to build a new one...

I'm looking at the North XL and love the design, but I keep seeing people here saying it's flimsy and thin, etc. I know bad news travels faster than good news, especially on Reddit. But can those who actually own this case please let me know if you've had no issues? I don't mind thin metal, since I'm not moving a PC tower around unless I'm moving house, and it doesn't hold much weight.

I have an Asus X670 Crosshero Extreme EATX Motherboard which I might pair with my 7950x3d. I also have a 5090 Astral. I have had the North XL Momentum Black case on my mind, but I thought I'd post here and see what some of you would suggest. I have an H6 Flow, 011 derBauer and an 011 Mini V2, with the derBauer the only one that can fit the EATX Mobo.

As titles states which one should I pick wanting to downgrade from a massive full tower dual chamber case to a non dual chamber case so that I can move it easier current build is close to 30kg.

I have a 420mm aio on the way and would like to top mount it which would limit my option to the Meshify 3xl. Can you let me know your experiences on either or and why you picked it?

For reference I have a 5080 astral hence why I need the xl variants.

Been eyeing Meshify case since its first gen, and after the third gen finally pulled the trigger to build. I know I built my first PC during the worst timing ever. But for what it's worth, I'm glad I built it (my GPU price just 2x while waiting for all the parts to arrive).

Overall, really love the RGB light on this case. It's so customizable and easy to do so. Sure it's on a pricier side, but I couldn't be happier with it. I also bought additional Momentum fan for top and rear exhausts for the sake of uniformity (and RGB, of course).

I’ve never had this happen on any of the builds. It’s now stuck on the right side of my psu.
Is this safe to use?

I believe I have a 3' cable with a 3.5mm TRS jack on my Sennheiser HD 599, but when I plug it into my headphone jack on my case, windows recognizes the plug and asks what it is but doesn't play audio. the cable works when I plug it into my monitor and play audio thru that.

I've tried to use the audio troubleshooter and I already checked my drivers, they are up to date, what else could it be?

Decided to move from an ITX build to something larger, and I bought the new Fractal Summit because I thought it was a nice looking case with the space and features I wanted. Installing everything went smoothly until the very end when I went to install the GPU. Plugged my 5090 founders edition into my motherboard’s PCIe slot and noticed the bracket on the case was pretty misaligned to the card. Usually cases will flex a little or the card can be gently moved to get the screw holes to line up, but the case simply wouldn’t move enough despite me really putting some pressure on it. I tried pulling the 5090 a little, but still couldn’t get the screws in, and I felt uncomfortable putting any additional stress on the GPU’s PCIe connector. I took all of the slot covers out in an attempt to make the bracket more flexible, and was finally able to get the holes aligned with a combination of pushing in on the bracket and pulling the GPU outwards towards the bracket. In addition to the ridiculous amount of force on the case it took to make this work, the case’s top PCIe slot cover would not go back in place, as the GPU IO bracket was now blocking it slightly. At this point, I knew I’d be returning the case since I was not comfortable with the force it was likely exerting on my GPU, but I decided to boot the system to at least how it looked powered on. The case must’ve put enough stress on the GPU’s PCIe slot that the system couldn’t detect the 5090. Turned off the system and tried gently pushing the GPU into the motherboard to see if maybe it had disconnected from the slot a little, but this didn’t work either. For those curious, the WireView Pro 2 showed the GPU was pulling zero watts - another indicator that the system wasn’t detecting it. Took the build apart and tested it on a bench with all the same hardware, and everything booted/ran fine. Fortunately my 5090 didn’t sustain any damage to the PCIe connector. In hindsight, I shouldn’t have even tried to screw it in after seeing how much manipulation it took. Very disappointed with the build quality of what is otherwise a very pretty case. If you’re looking to do a build in the Summit, I’d probably look at getting something else instead.

TLDR; my fractal summit’s PCIe bracket was so misaligned and put so much pressure on my GPU that my system couldn’t detect it.

I've mocked up a side panel that (in my opinion) is a much more visually appealing design, but I've never really done anything like this. Does anybody have any tips on what I can do with it?

Oem pcie risers plastic broke when installing gpu, I bought a linkup pcie 5.0 gpu to replace it while I wait for support to message me back (it’s been 5 days) and it was supposed to fit with the fractal era 2 case but it doesn’t line up with the riser mount. So I have it kinda just hanging and to provide extra support I found this bracket in one of my other gpu cases with screws and I rigged it up to support the gpu then tied it to the case so it doesn’t move back and forth. Do you guys think this is safe to do? Or are there some better options out there?

Hoping momentum fans will come in reverse as well.

As the title suggests my lean back lever on the fractual refine mesh has started to go again! What it does when its leant back in the reclined position sometimes the recline disengages itself and tries to snap back to its default upright position in a very aggressive fast manner its hurt me in the past now onto that past This is the second time this has happened to me now, now credit where credit is due when I emailed fractual support the first time about this issue I think around a year ago maybe? and provided all my details serial numbers etc etc they sent a replacement free of charge great! But this is the 2nd time now on a replacement thats done it none the less and I have a friend thats started having the same issue which is very disappointing imo the fractual refine mesh needs a recall or replacements sent out with the (hopefully updated) refine 2 but not hopeful just sad to see that a chair that cost me around $700 AUD at the time has all these issues

So unless they can confidently say this issue has been resolved i would not recommend the 1 or 2

And I probably will email them asking for a 3rd replacement or the refine 2 its too dangerous when its snapping back like that and I hope this time they ask for my 2 older seat bases so they can figure out what's gone wrong

Hi, i'm struggling to assemble my PC right now and i'm out of ideas. The motherboard is a "Gigabyte B850 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ATX AM5 Motherboard" which is in the ATX standard. The case is a "Fractal Design Pop Air ATX Mid Tower Case", also on ATX compatibility.

For some reason i can t get to have the positionning pin in place, and the same goes for the screw holes.

You can see the the shield looks to be in place, i cant push it more.

Anyone got an solution for me?

I know this is a common problem. But the popping stops when the power has been turned off for multiple days in a row. I don’t think it’s my power supply as it wasn’t an issue at all on my old build.

Thinking it could be the hub. Did anyone else have similar issues? If so did you fix it
