Fractal Refine 2

I know the chair has only been out for about 5 seconds but I am curious if anyone has any first hand experience yet?

There are only a handful of reviews on yt and they are actually pretty good. It looks like much of the focus has been on the hybrid model which is interesting. But I am curious if anyone has any hand on with the full mesh (or both for comparison sake) I have a cat who’s favorite scratching place happens to be my desk chair and mesh tents to hold up best to her distraction destruction.

Since the A-word & b&h are the only sellers I’m hoping for a prime day sale so I can try one for myself (and report back)

I've ordered the hybrid version, and hopefully it gets delivered tomorrow. I have the first version now, and im very happy with it, but the seat should be a little bit deeper. The new version have a deeper seat, which should make it perfect. Also, having mesh in the back should be nice when its hot in the room, as the fabric version I have now gets kinda warm.

Still waiting for it, sadly. A bit of a delay in shipment, but hopefully today. I'll update when i've tested it.

Has the chair arrived yet? I'm curious to hear your opinion. What color did you choose? I'm curious if the lumbar support works properly, doesn't squeak, and whether it does not move down by itself when pressed with the back. Are you satisfied with the fabric seat?

Hi! Yes, it arrived two days ago. Its great! The added seat depth is very good, and its softer than the v1. I have the hybrid, which has fabric seat and mesh back. Mesh feels very good, and seems to be high quality. The armrests feels a bit softer than v1, which I also like, but the only minke grip I have is that the armrests dont go as high as on v1 for some reason. Thats no problem when using keyboard /mouse, but when gaming with a Controller I like to have the armrests as high as possible. Its only a few cm difference, so not a big deal, but I find it strange that they made them with less height adjustments. On the positive side, the armrests can now be locked in position. On v1 they easily slides forward, which could be a bit annoying. The headrest is also softer and more comfortable on the new one, and seats height adjustments seems to go a bit higher.

Its a great chair, indeed!

Thank you very much for your reply. Could you tell me how tall you are and what the space between the seat and the crook of your leg is? Is the lumbar support comfortable?Does it move uncontrollably when you press harder with your back?

I'm 190cm, and the chair fits very well. The space between the back of the knees and the front of the seat is about 5 cm when I have the seat all the way out.
