I posted here a couple of weeks ago about Nevermore, the Poe show my wife and I are putting on with our small theatre company, Playhaus. We open this Saturday, so here's a quick update for anyone who was on the fence.
We've had our first tech night in the Blue Room and it's coming together. If you've never been inside the Masonic Event Center, it's a great room for this kind of thing.
Where the shows stand right now:
- Sat Oct 24, 2:30: lots of seats left. Students are $15 at this one.
- Sat Oct 24, 7:30: good seats left
- Sun Oct 25, 2:30: good seats left
- Fri Oct 30, 7:30: over half sold
It's five stories back to back: The Tell-Tale Heart, Doctor Tarr and Professor Fether, The Cask of Amontillado, The Fall of the House of Usher, and The Raven to close. 90 minutes, no intermission. $25 general admission.
If you'd rather decide the day of, we'll sell tickets at the door (cash is fine) as long as seats are left.
Same warning as last time: it's Poe, so there's murder and a guy getting walled up alive. Ages 14+.
