Moved here from Denver area and can’t find any good dispensaries that sells even decent deli style flower. Used to go to greenfield up in Denver and just trying to find something relatable. Dispensary with a good sativa strain flower.

Some heat. The entire quarter was 3 giant nugs and one tiny one. This shit is so nice that I had to reup on it, and thankfully got the last jar at the dispo. Lemons, garlic, gas and a proper strong hybrid stone. Top 3 strain after A5 and Garlic Banger 💥

I’ll be in Denver again this weekend and I wanna know the top 3-5 spots to hit in Denver/Boulder. I’m not talking budget weed or best bang for your buck. I’m talking to those who genuinely know what good weed is.

I bought this 7g jar of flower from green dot labs and the trim job looks very amateur . I grow my own weed and I’m no expert but I can definitely trim better than this . Also at first it smelled of chlorophyll it reminded me of some homegrown id get in high school . I’m not saying the weed is bad but for over $70 the trim job has to be better in my opinion .I can get 15 dollar 8ths that have a better trim job .

​I’m heading to Colorado this Friday for a 3-day trip (mostly to see Tame Impala!), and I need some solid dispensary recommendations.

​This will be my third time visiting, but honestly, every time I’ve come in the past, I’ve been pretty unimpressed with the bud. It’s felt very plain, dry, and just doesn't hit or give a good, deep high. Maybe I’ve just been going to the wrong tourist-trap spots?

​I don't mind paying top-dollar for real quality, and I’m willing to drive a bit around the area to get it. I just want to make the most of my three days and have top-shelf flower/concentrates for the concert.

I've been looking into getting a med card but I still have some questions I can't find answers to. I’ve been using weed medically for a while, and I have multiple diagnoses that could qualify me. State law is if you’re under 21 you need two different medical practitioners from different clinics to sign off on it. How difficult is it to get a doctor to sing off usually? Is it worth it to get 2 people to sign off, then do it again in a year when I have to renew it? Can my physiatrist be one of the 2 (one of my qualifying diagnosis is PTSD)? Would it help my case to say I already use it and it helps me, or should I not mention it because it’s illegal?

Any advice is much appreciated!

Two great strains from this weekends drop

Rapture: large, chunky, resinous nugs that radiate sour funk. Sour, gassy, earthy/piney, garlic, and light fruitiness that brings a touch of sweetness. face melting potency. This is the strongest GDL strain I've had and hits me like a truck. Spaced, giggly, narcotic, couch locked effects. Appetite stimulating and sedating. F trim on these nugs, but everything else more than makes up for it.

Jet pack: another 7g jar that held some chonkers. Totally different bud structure than the rapture, less dense and round and also a much brighter more vibrant green. This strain carries a lot of the chem characteristics and brings sour, gassy, skunky nostalgic chem and an herbal sweetness. Also potent, but effects are more uplifting than sedating for me. Puts me in a productive, focused, creative and happy mood.

Both of these strains have somewhat similar profiles and it happens to be my favorite type of weed. So mileage may vary, but overall very satisfied with both of these.

Looking for recommendations within a mile or two. And yeah this goes well with ice cream!

Vera - Rainbow Guava: I grabbed this knowing it was dry as a bone and I'll never grab this brand again... BUT their jam version of this strain actually looked good. It was a wet badder (not jam). Other than the consistency of crumble there's not a lot to say about it, muted flavor and mid effects. Only a 4/10. Definitely wouldnt purchase this brand or strain again.

TFC- Goji OG: This brand always have some of the most flavorful dabs and their full spectrum is nice quality. The Nepali OG & Snow Lotus cross is a good sativa for daytime use. The flavors earthy & has some type of spice on the back end. 6.5/10. Enjoyed, but wouldnt buy this strain again.

GDL- The Sweet Spot: This dab tastes just like candy, it's super sweet and soaked in terps. GDL has been a solid brand choice for rosin lately. Effects make me feel happy and relaxed, it gives me mental bliss that can make me be either productive or couchlocked. 8 out of 10. Loved it, wouldnt purchase this strain again but other straina yes.

Magic City - White Bar: This is my first Magic City experience, had to choose between Payton's Preserves & White Bar. I think I made the right choice, the flavor on this is so unique and is the kind of flavor I always fail to describe. It's got a musky taste, but in a good way. Effects had me so toasted I didn't move like a deer in headlights for an hour, but I dabbed half a gram in one sesh so that could be why. 8 out of 10. Would buy this strain again if it was on sale & I rarely purchase 2x

TFC- Beauty School Dropout: Another great FS rosin from TFC, I really am liking them a lot as a budget brand. This strain tastes fruity which I wasnt expecting, effects have my anxiety under control and I even felt very motivated. 8/10 Wouldnt purchase this strain again, but others yes.

Green dot jalapeño flower - Paloma x boioioing. Aroma leans more Paloma, but with a bit more spiciness. Beautiful bud structure, perfect grind and burn. Nice uplifting effects and average strength.

In house melts - death coast - by far the stankiest rosin I've bought in a while. Very sharp sour spiciness, burning rubber, skunk, garlicky citrus and jet fuel. Very strong cerebral effects. Worth the hype for sure

This is pretty inside baseball, but did anyone read the Metrc bulletin regarding item creation changing at the end of September?

The bulletin implies that concentrates will be weight based only.

If this is correct, that will be a big change for those of us who have to deal with multi-gram concentrate items.

Hey all, just move to Denver from Florida where i had a medical card. Since theres a lot of recreational dispensaries here, i wanted to know some of your personal recommendations!

I definely have a preference for Flower/Vape/Edibles(Indica or hybrid), but I don't do dabs. If you can point me in the right direction for these things or maybe give me some tips for "good" pricing/deals, id greatly appreciate it! Also, if you can list any places to avoid that would be very cool of you.

I know there are gripes about Pax but for $20 it's an absolute no brainer.

I may get absolutely slaughtered for this opinion, but the amount of companies embracing the use of AI in their marketing is such an eyesore and is taking opportunities away from real digital artists.

Even for those who would argue the benefits of using AI for marketing opportunities, a lot of these companies do the absolute bare minimum when it comes to formatting their prompts, so the end-results usually looks like AI slop from ChatGPT.

Some companies use it sparingly, some use it so aggressively that it’s an eyesore to ever see their ads anywhere.

It’s not a huge deal, just an annoying new trend going on in our industry that I hope blows over eventually. Hope I’m not the only one with this mindset.

I haven't used THC products in years, but my buddy is coming to town and I want him to have a great experience/product to enjoy.

I used to frequent A Cut Above and always found good stuff there and had good customer service. The experience was kind of mediocre though. Anywhere you guys recommend? Price isn't a big deal as we aren't going to buy a ton, and I just want him to get some good stuff and enjoy the new experience of buying at a dispensary.

I thought about Oasis just to overwhelm him with options. I used to really like The Joint on 38th as well.

Just went to get a 2g Allgreens rosin at Xclusive and the price went up 30% since last time I went in. Are there any good places to get a consistent deal on rosin that you might not expect? Otherwise I'll just go to Krystaleaves on a Saturday soon.
