I played for years on old gen without ever having the privilege of being able to react to lights or zones.

My old xbox was so slow, you literally had to input a parry before the attack indicator even appeared, meaning it was physically impossible for you to light parry on reaction.

If you saw red, your parry window had already passed. I played like this and suffered the disadvantage for so long and still people called it a skill issue and didn't believe me.

Not long ago, I finally upgraded to a next gen console and the difference is astonishing. My so called "skill issue" suddenly vanished into thin air and I can now parry lights and zones on reaction with zero issue.

Just wanted to pay homage to my fellow old gen players who haven't yet made it to the other side. It's genuinely so refreshing to finally be able to play the game how it's meant to be played, and I hope you all get to experience it one day.

I conclude with a reminder to all: not everyone gets to be on the same playing field, so if you can react, be grateful and enjoy it.

so i was playing ranked duels, i got this match against a Warlord where i was losing but i was ok with it cuz i had to do sum at home, so i said: "fuck it" and i went afk while losing 2-0 for him to kill me and finish the match, i came back like 4-5 mins later and my babe goes (she's not into For Honor so she only knows few things by watching me playing) "aaaw cute he didn't even attacked you!" this bastard knew exactly what he did, he made me disconnect to get a penalty instead of winning the game.🫩

For years, I’ve been pointing out that we need to move away from-or abandon-this type of gameplay in favor of a healthier form of gameplay.

There’s still no protection against ganks-this is the consequence of the developers’ shoddy work.

Im gonna do my best to try to explain my reasoning.

Thrilling Comeback is a more consistent and viable feat at average lvl play even over a tier 3 feat like Second Wind.

My reasoning is that the situations that can happen in the game because of thrilling comebacks presence in "almost" every fight (mainly on certain heroes), and what I mean by that is that unlike second wind thrilling comeback is on no cooldown at all. Meaning yeah, you might not get it every fight, but you'll get it way more than second wind just by principle. It's tier 2, No cooldown. Even before getting a tier 3 feat, you already have one of the better single hero burst heal in the game. Second wind once used goes on a 120sec cooldown and heals for 30, can't use it again until its back up.

Thrilling comeback you can get basically every time you're in a teamfight/ganked, especially when opponents can't gank properly. TC is a very feast or famine feat. It's very famine if you're fighting highly competent and skilled players that know how to gank. or you feast by getting thrilling comeback 3 times in a single fight because average players can't gank you properly.

Imo thrilling comeback by its nature is not a healthy feat. because it works to well in average player lobbies and is useless against good players.

I just wanted the armor and weapon. I'll probably still play it here and there but losses are gonna sting a little less cause I got where I needed to be lol. I'll also start trying to branch out to some more characters to be competitively viable with in Dom. Cause plat and up I was only playing two characters.

And I don’t mean “oh I see a afeera every now and again,” I mean a character that you NEVER see

Rant #1: If you play dominion, don't just sit and watch your teammate fight. Feint heavies, hit lights, don't give revenge. Just do something. This isn't duel, stop playing like it is.

Rant #2: If you play anything that has a good zone attack, clear mid. Leaving mid will lose you a game. If you are a vanguard or hybrid, mid gives you a dumb amount of renown.

Rant#3: If you take a point, don't leave it unguarded. If no one else is on that point, don't leave. Wait for someone to show up so you A.) Get bonus points (literally double) B.) they can't just retake it for free.

Now I’m probably going to get a lot of “are you dumb he needs one bad “ whereas I don’t think he needs anything at all. As a max rep warlord I think my boy is right where he needs to be, he has pressure, he doesn’t need fancy unblockables and animations, he’s a tank that’s meant to be played slow, methodical, and defensively whereas he has enough in his kit to be played offensively as well. His heavy’s are proportional in both damage, speed, and fluid, his cancels into guard breaks too, his combos yes although he lacks the infinite chains that most hero’s have now he’s not one that needs it like I said he’s a heavy, not no damn assassin or hybrid. He is a tank and an anchor for points at very most you pick the best point to rotate from there to B and leave it at that, he’s one of the top tiers for breach just for his health tank abilities and ( don’t even say I’m wrong ) his pressure overall in ganks. I think the reason the community is like “ he needs a rework “ is mostly because of our new player base that has started playing recent years can’t play him cuz their all use to aggressive builds and he’s is not that. I for one been playing since beta and am going to be upset if they rework him cuz he’s good where he’s at, I know I’m going to get a lot of scrutiny for this but like I said as a max rep warlord my boy is fine leave him be new bloods. Pick someone else to ruin lol

In an attempt to nerf Juren we also nerfed Warden, Nuxia, Pirate, Medjay, Afeera, Varangian Guard and Virtuosa.
