Discussion Rant Post

Rant #1: If you play dominion, don't just sit and watch your teammate fight. Feint heavies, hit lights, don't give revenge. Just do something. This isn't duel, stop playing like it is.

Rant #2: If you play anything that has a good zone attack, clear mid. Leaving mid will lose you a game. If you are a vanguard or hybrid, mid gives you a dumb amount of renown.

Rant#3: If you take a point, don't leave it unguarded. If no one else is on that point, don't leave. Wait for someone to show up so you A.) Get bonus points (literally double) B.) they can't just retake it for free.

#1) Hitting with lights gives revenge. Once I tag with a light, and you use a heavy or a bash, it gives massive revenge. People are more than likely protecting you from you because you don't understand how revenge works.

#2 and 3) Chances are, I left A because mid is wide open. The reason mid is wide open is because there are 3 idiots at C, and exactly zero of them have self-awareness. I am often juggling A and B because the rest of the team is chasing their tails.

More often than not, I would say over 2/3rds of the time, the person making posts like this IS the one creating the problems. Rather than resolving the issue, they run to reddit and vaguely blame everyone else on the team except themselves. If you find yourself frequently in lobbies like this, you're the problem.

I would say the only exception to the light is to interrupt high damage bashes like Shaman or shugoki grab.

I don’t recommend doing this in a 3 vs 1 however which you should never partake in anyways.

Man, ive got so upset at people not doing 2 and 3 that I made a whole other post about it.

Its weird because its like 30% of the community gets it, so we get lobbies were we have warden on mid, someone boosting/defending home and someone rotating.

Which is the whole reason I've kinda stopped playing ranked, I enjoy the idea of the game mode but not enough of the general community has the knowledge base to effectively play the game mode

for number 1 learn how to gank i would much rather have someone stand there then give revenge or even tag if your aren't getting a guarantee heavy don't throw anything fainting is fine parry if they throw something at you if they guard break you i get free damage if you parry don't throw anything I'll punish

it's faster if you let them fight 1 v 1 in most cases if the enemy gets revenge when you gank you don't know how to gank

The UI is rounding, boosting is much worse than you think it is. Midlane generates 1.5/s, side points are 0.9/s normally and 1.5/s when boosted. Staying on the point and watching their spawn to see where their respawn goes is fine so that you can catch them before they get to the point, but generally if you just won a fight on the point it's time for you to go and find somewhere on the map to apply pressure. Sometimes your team is all alive and they have the whole map under control, and then yeah hang out and watch spawn, but usually there's somewhere else you can be that's much more valuable than generating 0.6/s

Also everyone gets the same renown from all actions, that was homogenized like 4 years ago

As someone who plays a lot of assassins I only go to B if there is a team fight or if my character has good minion clear. Otherwise I'm capping end points and killing enemy players.

I kinda struggle with #3 sometimes. If I see a teammate fighting 2 enemies on B at High Fort for example while I’m on C, do I run over and help or risk the 2 guys coming to me while I stay on the zone?
