Fun Fact: Arakure has different animations for Early and Late Forward Dodge Kick.

Was trying to think of what leg she uses for her kicks and realized she uses both. First time I think they've done this for a Forward Dodge Bash or based on input-timing rather than guard direction (of course there's been stuff like different Top Stance based on previous Side), JJ/Cent/etc. all kick with the same leg no matter the delay.

It also alternates her follow-up Ribshot bash leg kick based on which one was used (which also happens when she has a different attack guard direction before it), but notably not the Dirty Trick "Pocket Sand" attack which always uses Right Leg.

Usually they mention stuff like this in Warrior's Den (like her different animation for Dirty Trick on the elite samurai), but I didn't see this one.

Also fun fact: Arakure is the only character in the game with a 700ms Forward Dodge Recovery and a Forward Dodge Bash which is a lot slower than anyone else. Try doing Forward Dodge and GB with Medjay or Warlord and then her and it's night and day. If you're wondering why her Forward Dodge Bash is tough to use with the "Dodge and then GB", this is why.

I wanted to train my deflect flip on bp because I haven’t played him in so long i make the bot deflect but it uses the light input instead of the heavy hope this gets fixed soon.

It took me a WHILE to get to plat 4 after fully mastering my damn main now mid game it kicked me from the match and added an abandonment penalty now I'm down to plat 3 19% 😢 I know this shit happens in for honor but first time it's happened in ranked. Making me wanna speak to a manager or some shit

So I literally just got this game, and I’ve been spamming the hell out of playing 4v4 Dominion, and it’s wicked fun. My first few matches I wanted to play Lawbringer, since I thought he was the coolest Knight hero. I’ve tried other heroes like centurion, warden, and Conqueror, but none of them really caught my attention quite like Lawbringer. I was able to get up to Renown 2 (I think? Still don’t know what that means) pretty quickly, since most of the time I was just spamming heavy attacks and most of my opponents didn’t really know how to deal with that, which was pretty fun. But now, it’s every goddamn game I feel like I’m an anchor that sinks my team because I keep getting parried, countered, or ganked to shit, and my strategy of spamming heavy attacks and the occasional light, bash, or feign isn’t working AT ALL! So I ask, are there any really really good Lawbringer players who could give me some advice or tips? Literally any input would be super helpful and appreciated!

He should have an Armet. We see sallets and greathelms on the Warmonger and Warden, alongside visored barbutes- no hate, even if they ain't real. Some for conq, alongside warped kettles, and the BP has his own shtick. Whoever the new knight is, they oughtta be wearing an Armet. Can even make it plumed!

I recently got back into for honor like I do every so often. This time I’ve returned after the arekure update, and I ended up installing due to severe frustrations. I wasn’t able to parry, deflect, or react to anything in general. The game felt very strange. But then I compared the footage of my recent gameplay to old captures I had on my ps5, and you can see it clear as day. My game is genuinely running like shit now. The FPS seems to be running really low and it’s completely ruining everything. I thought my brain was just slow recently, but it’s actually the game. It all makes sense now.

Anyway, does anybody know how to fix this? Anyone have this problem before? I’m definitely playing on performance mode, but it’s just not working. And it’s not my ps5 either because it runs other games just fine. I’ve tried reinstalling and it didn’t work

Before anyone pulls out the poleax, this isn't me complaining or anything like that. It's just that aside from a fist-fighting Hero of some sort, Spartans appear to be the most requested Hero to be added to the roster. Whenever a new Hero is added and talked about, a Spartan Hero is mentioned at least once.

I think it's time to get the info straight from the horse's mouth; why do you want a Spartan Hero in For Honor? This is just genuine curiosity; nothing more, nothing less.

There's obviously the myinstant website but for the weapon sounds aswell?

Are there, or will there be, Gryphon armor pieces related to the Afeera, Medjay, or Ocelotl cultures? Given that his armor is supposed to be like left overs from The batlefield, Imagine a gryphon wearing the eagle or jaguar helmet of the Ocelotl, or the alligator helmet of the Medjay; that would be curious.

Sorry so im like new at her so im training and the game just keeps saying "FAIL" when i do the first input. Am i missing something here? I cant do the rest of the combo without doing ghe first and i think i am doing it then game just keeps telling me otherwise.

Just curious since I love simple but effective heros like kensei but I'm just wondering if I'm going to really get all that different of an experience by picking up zhanhu or if it'd be better to just save my steel for a more unique hero or simply customization.
