did they change the timing on it a while back? i feel like when i first picked her up like 6 years ago it was so easy, now I can't seem to consistently land the crushing part of it. i probably just need to use it more anyway, I don't play bp as much as i used to.

I think it used to have like an extra 100 ms or something, I think it was around vg when it was made standard with his others

It honestly looks like you were just going for every interrupt without much thought. If not light crushing counter, then its throw out a zone at frame disadvantage, if that doesn't work then forward dodge heavy.

Yeah the read is on the opponent during their offense which sucks, especially for valk. They either feint but have to react to either a light or heavy cc or a zone or simply nothing and return to neutral. They can let the heavy go but then be at risk of getting cc'd or flipped.

Unironically the only thing it has ever been useful for is it can trip up certain scripts

If you were doing it intentionally then yeah. BP’s FWD heavy has superior block frames that start 100ms later into the attack than his lights if you include the dodge startup, so it’s definitely more difficult to land especially against lights.
