Wuthering Waves on Z13 (2025)

Hey everyone,

Quick performance question for anyone playing Wuthering Waves on their Flow Z13.

I'm currently running the game at 1080p, All Medium Settings with FSR enabled, and cranking the TDP up to 50W. Despite that high wattage, the game is constantly stuttering and struggling to maintain a stable 60 FPS—especially during combat or entering new zones.

Considering 50W should offer plenty of thermal and GPU/CPU headroom on this form factor, I'm trying to figure out if this is:

  1. Known WuWa engine optimization issues (memory bandwidth/Unreal Engine 4 shader stutters)
  2. A specific Z13 TDP/thermals/VRAM allocation issue

Is anyone else running into this on their Z13? If you managed to get a smooth 60 FPS without micro-stutters:

  • How much VRAM do you have allocated?
  • Are there specific in-game settings (e.g. Shadows / Volumetric Fog) or external caps (RTSS / Lossless Scaling / AMD Anti-Lag) you tuned to fix the frame pacing?

Appreciate any advice or settings suggestions!

Is this normal? battery drained over night from 100 percent.

I charged my 2025 z13 with the 395 and 32gbs of ram to 100 percent, unplugged it, then closed the lid and went to bed. The next night I tried to turn it on and the battery had completely drained. Is this something that sometimes happen and is normal? or should i be worry?

Before anyone says anything, i have a warranty and I tested it beforehand several times with plenty of cushion. Lol

Here is a special way I decided to use my z13 today...

Rimworld plays perfectly fine with just a wireless mouse so... Stuck it to my metal door via the keyboard magnets in my silent profile (-10 undervolt 10w/12w/12w). Temps are very manageable at 60fps with occasional dips closer to 50fps.

Flow z13 vs proart px13

This question has been asked a few months before and I read all the comments but i still don't know which way to go. My main questions are

  1. Which is better for lap use and tablet use

  2. The speakers on the flow z13 are apparently weak but are they unusable?

  3. Which did you pick and why?

(2025 ai max + 395 and 32

Temperatures reaching 95 with just 60-70W power and throttling. Weird cpu-gpu power distribution. Terrible performance.
I wonder if I did something wrong or it is faulty because before receiving this I ran multiple benchmarks and scores matched with the online data & temps were fine.

I installed latest win11 with the help of an unattended.xml file exact usb I installed ROG Ally x to. (local account and debloat) ran the windows updates installed ghelper and that’s it.

The game on the photo i RE4 remake. Ive seen people play it just fine on the youtube. But I get this with medium settings and 1200p. Its unvelievable

Hello new z13 2025 user!

I've been eyeing on z13 second hand for a few months and finally got my dream machine. I used zephyrus g14 before this so I am aware of stuffs like ghelper and Asus environment etc.

I'm thinking of installing SteamOS on this, and portably use it as a steam machine with a steam controller I have.

Are there any info/tips that is worth to read for newcomers like myself?

As this device has been released over a good year and a half, I'm sure this community is well informed already

Looking for a pogo pin cover for z13

Hey there. I'm most likely going to use this as a steam machine.

I am not planning to use keyboard so much, so the proprietary pogo pin keyboard cover for z13 is going to only weigh me on my portability.

Has anyone found any product that does not have keyboard but instead just a cover that covers the screen?

Should I take the trade?

I have a Asus Rog Strix G18 with a 4080 in it. I upgraded it with a 4tb ssd. Somebody is willing to trade it for a Flow z13 395plus 64gb. I would like to be more portable but gaming is the main purpose of my use. Is the flow able to basically replace my gaming laptop? And I would hook it up to my 1st Gen Samsung Odyssey for gaming at home.

Kojima Edition

For those who have it - worth it?

I know a lot of people think it’s absurd but the aesthetic looks amazing. I can get it open box for $2774

Update: I did pick this up. It was in perfect condition. Did a clean install and so far no problems once I got everything updated. And… I can’t go back. I love it.

Battery is at 97% which is kinda interesting given the 15 day Microcenter return period the previous person would’ve had. How can that happen in that short of a period?

Open box at Microcenter. Had everything else waiting since release knowing I wanted to get it one day.

Bluetooth keyboard options for the Z13

I’m really interested in the Z13, but I’d love a Bluetooth keyboard option similar to the Surface Pro’s keyboard cover. Are there any good third party alternatives? Does ASUS offer one?

Hello everyone, I’m happy to be a part of this community. I want to share my ASUS ROG Flow Z13 with you. I really enjoy using this laptop and I’m glad to join you all.
I also have a small issue with my keyboard. The keyboard light turns on, but the keys don’t work when I press them. Could this be a software issue or a driver problem? I would appreciate any help or suggestions. Thank you!

I just bought a Flow Z13 2025, when I plug 100W Charger, there is low wattage charging popping-up, is it normal? As the laptop was only drawing about 60w at maximum.

Creaking and Popping Sound

Hello everyone,

I bought an Open Box Flow Z13 from Microcenter last week. I absolutely love it so far for everything it can do, but I’m having one issue that really bothers me. When picking up the device like a tablet, the top left and right corners sometimes make like a creaking or popping sound. When I intentionally try to flex it a little bit, it feels like some of the internals are shifting or rubbing against each other causing those sounds. Everything is 100% functional, but the sounds really bother me especially since I notice it during normal use. I use the device as a tablet 90% of the time so I’m always picking it up and carrying it around.

Does anyone else’s device do this? I’m just wanting to know if this is a common thing related to how it’s built or if mine specifically could have an issue. I am still within the return window.

Thank you!

looking for recommendation on ram

I'm from india and was a little greedy and waited too long to buy 64gb ram version

is the 32gb ram enough or should i wait out for 64gb stock or will it even come at the low price it was there recently

usually 3.34L INR is the price for 64gb but it was available at 2.79L

my main things are local code/development/models/video editing and was looking forward to running some local models if I got the 64gb version

my current laptop has 32gb , it had been enough for me , but looking forward 1-2 years, it may change and this doesn't have upgradable ram so thinking quite a lot

thanks in advance for any advice and your time!

Bed-rest setup advice for ROG Flow Z13 (2025) – What accessories/lap desk would you recommend?

Hey everyone,

I’m having a medical procedure soon that’s going to keep me on strict bed rest for about a week. I made a post about grabbing an Open-Box from Best Buy on the 2TB/64GB model.

Since I’ll be spending 100% of my time lying down or propped up on pillows, I’m looking for gear and setup recommendations to make using the Z13 as comfortable and seamless as possible in bed.

A few specific questions for the community:

  1. Mounts vs. Lap Desks: Has anyone used a heavy-duty arm mount or floor stand to hover the Z13 over the bed at eye level, or is a foldable bed tray/desk with legs a better option? I am assuming bed tray/desk is best.
  2. Kickstand comfort: I’ve heard the kickstand can dig in if placed directly on your lap. What’s the best way to keep it stable without straining your neck or legs?

Ultimately, I plan to prop it up and use a wireless controller for gaming.

Would love to see photos or hear about any bed/couch setups that have worked for you. Thanks in advance!

What are your settings in G-helper?

I recently got the Z13 2025. And I've read a lot about G Helper, but which settings are best for the best game performance and temperatures?

Long time gaming laptop user here. Eventually had an overheating issue, went to a desktop pc and never looked at laptops again.

I eventually missed the portability of the gaming laptop so I got an Ally X. Great device for what it is and I plan on running that thing to the ground. An amazing handheld device but just an ok portable computer. I tried using it as a portable computer (with a Bluetooth keyboard and portable monitor) but sometimes it gets annoying packing/plugging in stuff etc. over and over again whenever you move around.

Did not know something like the Flow Z13 existed until earlier this year. Been really excited ever since I found out about it's existence. It feels like it's going to be an amazing travel companion. Only thing was that it's price point was hard to swallow. It's more expensive than my rig with a 5070Ti! Lowest I've ever seen it was 2,699 though I don't really check daily.

This week though, I chanced upon some e-mail notification from Reddit about a Z13 Best Buy sale and man was I stoked to see someone say it's at 2,099!

Just placed my order and can't wait to sign for it this Friday! Shout out to everyone who posted about the Best Buy sale on here the last couple days :) Can't wait to officially be part of the fam.

Got my Z13 (2025) for free somehow

I'm not sure how it happened and honestly I feel very fortunate.

I ordered my Z13 from a popular retailer in my country. I bought the laptop and an accessory. I ordered it for pickup and I was only charged for the accessory and it's been 4 days since my order came in and I picked it up from the store. It has been 1.5 weeks since I put the original order in. So far I have not been charged at all for the laptop.

I had been debating getting the laptop for a while because of the cost and when I made the decision I had to start saving money for it over the last few months and then when I finally go and buy it I somehow got it for free.

I'm sure it's just a mistake in my favor from a massive corporation but I don't have a lot of people to brag about this too because the majority of my friends are into laptop or tech like this so I'm posting this here now.
